Do NOT use Zbest limousines!!!

Do NOT use Zbest limousines!!! Before I begin I want to communicate that my best friend is three or four time returning customer of Zbest Limousine and have spent somewhere around $5,000 with them over the years. The limo broke down and they left us stranded w/ no ride home. To make matters even worse, they kept her $200 dollar deposit and said ?you used the limo for two hours? My best friend hired them to take me and my girlfriends out to dinner and later to the clubs in DC for my bachelorette party. We had a really great dinner, and afterwards, we were excited to begin the night. However, as we left the restaurant, our limo driver called us and told us the limo would not start. We had been at dinner for 2 hours and we did not understand why he decided to tell us at the end of dinner. We realized that things happen so we asked if he got the limo fixed or if they would they be sending another limo. Apparently, the limo would take 2 hours to get fixed and there were no other limos available that night. It was 9:30pm and now they are telling us if we want a ride from them to DC, we have to wait 2 hours??? We were all so upset. My best friend called the limo company. The lady kept telling us there was nothing she could do and the limo would be fixed in 2 hours. We asked for our money back so we could find alternative transportation. After all, you only have one bachelorette party and we wanted to make the most of the night. The lady told us she was not authorized to do that and to call back on Monday?!?! After 3 of my bridesmaids talked with her and 45 minutes later, we finally got her to talk to someone who could do something. They refunded some of our money. Luckily, the Gaylord Hotel was very accommodating and offered us free transportation to DC. They advised us to call back the limo company and ask if they can at least pick us up since we would be in DC for more than 2 hours. When we called back the limo company, the lady said, "We refunded you your money so we are no longer responsible for you." They still refuse to pay my best friend back her money. I can't even begin to understand how they have gotten so many good reviews. My best friend will be taking further action and contacting the Better Business Bureau and Rip Off Report.com because a business who treats their customers like this should not be in business.

  • Did you seriously create an account solely to complain about a company?

    I think so.

  • No, I am recently married. I haven't been on here for awhile. I joined the knot in February. I am sorry if this was viewed as being intrusive. It was very upsetting night. I just wanted to warn other brides to be.
  • your friend spent 5K on limos but you guys are ruining your night over $200?

  • Your best friend doesn't have a leg to stand on. Seriously. They offered you a second limo, it would take time to get it there, which is totally understandable. That however wasn't good enough for you, so they have you your money back effectively ending any contract that you would have with them. So no, at that point they were not responsible for taking you anywhere. They did not leave you stranded, your friends left you stranded by not accepting their offer of a second limo. These things happen, cars breakdown sometimes, even really well maintained ones and they tried to offer you their best solution. What were they supposed to do? Pull a limo out of a hat?
  • It's not the money it's the principal and upset. Plus, we spent an hour an half trying to find alternative transportation. That is an hour an half into my bacholerette night that only happens once. Wow, I just didn't want this to happen to anyone else. It was a bad experience and it was not right.
  • Sorry misread. My post still stands. They could fix the limo in two hours, but again, not good enough. What were they supposed to do?
  • Apparently, the limo would take 2 hours to get fixed and there were no other limos available that night.
  • Re Read my paragraph. "There were no other limos available.."
  • you will realize someday that this is not the worst that could happen - even at your bachelorette party which only happens once in a lifetime.

This- bachelor and bachelorette parties aren't necessities. Plenty of people don't have them at all. In fact ~30 years ago bachelorette parties didn't even exist.

It sucks you got crummy service and I think they should have given you a full refund, but this definitely qualifies as a high class problem.

  • What horrible service. If my friends were to graciously use their hard-earned money to rent a limo for my bachelorette party, then the least I would expect from this company would be a full refund. That is like a photographer's camera breaking on the way to the ceremony, only to say, "oh well, you have already paid in full." But then again, that said photographer could also just come 2 hours later with another camera...because time is cheap, right? You ladies are all jealous haters. If you all weren't wedlocked, then maybe you could get a job that could pay for a limo, too! Peace out bitches!
  • LOL nice... looks like her friend joined the fun too!!

and to your friend, wtf does this even mean??

If only I could afford a limo",too"!  Totally jealous.  That is definitely what I would spend my money on if I ever get a job.

A: We're "haters" 'cause we don't agree with the original complaint?

B: WhoTF uses "wedlocked"? What are you, 85?

C: The majority of the women here are employed, yet are smart enough not to waste their money on limos.

    D: F*ck you.

  • I love this post! Is "wedlocked" some kind of insult? "BURN - You're Married!!!!"

  • I'm still LOL at "wedlocked". Who freakn says that?!!
  • This post is AWESOME!

OP, they did refund all but the security deposit, correct? So, they refunded the entire service fee, right? Did I read that right? They had also provided you with two hours of service up until that point, no?

    Wedlocked jealous hater, signing out!

Ditto.  There are far worse/more important things in life than a bad limo experience!

  • Perhaps my best friend should have known not to post messages about high-class related issues on this website. In the event that we experience a middle to low-class problem in the future, we will be sure to write about them on "the nest" for all you birds to tweet defensively about. Happy hating!

  • Not sure if I should even bother replying, but here goes...  I don't see this so much as a "high-class" problem versues a "low-class" problem.  However it is what TIP nesties would lovingly refer to as Bee-Bee problems.  (Bee-Bee = Baby Bride).

These are the kinds of things you worry about when you are all wrapped up in your wedding and have lost touch from the real world...  or haven't met the real world yet.  We have a very diverse group of women here and while most of us are "wedlocked" we definitely are not jealous haters.  We just have real problems to worry about.  There are people with spouses who are unemployed, people who have special needs children and parents that are ill or dying.

In the grand scheme of life a broken down limo just isn't something that rises to this level vitirol.  Were you disappointed? Yes.  Did you have unrealistic expectations about the solution?  Yes.

Life isn't fair, bad things happen, friends let you down, You will get disappointed in life many, many times.  If you don't learn how to roll with the punches you are going to be sad and angry a lot more than necessary.
