Flying Pig and Goofy...
are the names Addie has chosen for her two siblings arriving in May!!!
We lucked out and IUI #1 actually worked. I've had weekly u/s since then and both twins are growing nicely. One measures about a week behind the other, but they are both growing at the same rate so the dr isn't overly concerned. They both show strong little heartbeats. I was going to wait until I was further along, I'm nervous about that second little one sticking around. But we won't have another u/s for 2 weeks and I couldn't wait any longer. I'm 8 1/2 weeks along. My RE was confident enough to send me to a regular OB who I saw today.
Addie told me after the IUI (no she didn't know we did the IUI) that she wanted a brother and a sister. I told her to talk to her dad (he only wanted one more). She said, "nah, I'll just ask God." A few weeks later 2 sacs showed up on the u/s. hopefully he doesn't listen to her every whim, she later decided that she was wrong and doesn't want a baby, and she changes her mind back and forth.
ETA:not outing myself on fb till at least the 2nd tri so please don't say or hint at anything there!
