If you need (or want
) anything from Sephora, their Friends and Family sale started today. Click on the link to get your 20% off code:

I really need to stay away from it myself, but there are a couple of things I do need.
Also, if you go through Ebates.com you get an additional 4% back after you place your order. If you would like a referral to Ebates, let me know. I think we both get an additional $5 for a referral.
Re: Sephora's F&F sale
I already know what I'm getting with this.
NARS's cream blush called...
wait for it...
PENNY LANE!

How fun is that? I love the names they give their colors. Have you ever used their cream blush? Just curious if it lasts throughout the day.
Can someone recommend a blush color from Tarte, the Amazonian clay blush?
I am fair skinned and not sure which one I should choose.
I'm a Tarte addict. I have 4 in rotation now. I just bought Blushing Bride, which I think will be a good color for winter when I'm quite pale. I also have Flushed, and Tipsy, and the last I can't remember bc I think it might have been a special color. I get super pale in the winter and still like all the colors. I tend to stick with the sheer ones rather than the creamy versions.
Perhaps Tickled, or Blissful for you? I just realized I have no idea what you look like. Eye color, hair?
I have 5 of the Amazonian Clay blushes, but they were all purchased in kits and I think that means that those colors are exclusive to those kits. I can't remember off hand what the names are anyway.
Honeslty, as long as you use a light hand they are all pretty wearable. It's just a matter of whether or not you want more of a pink, peachy or berry color.
Fair skin with pink/red undertones. Cool or neutral shades.
I have light brown hair which I sometimes dye auburn or red.
Blue eyes and a smattering of freckles that are mostly concealed by foundation.
I wear this blush now: http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/parentsku/SUGARBIB175
I'm thinking I'll go with Blissful as a start.
Has anyone tried the Fresh scents? Specifically the ones in the kit in the link below? Or do you have a different one you'd recommend? I get migranes from some scents and these sound like they wouldn't bother me. I'm looking for a light, fresh, clean scent. I have one of the lip balms and really like it and it also smells nice, so I'm hopeful their fragrances are equally as good.

If you like Tarte: If you go on Tarte's website, sign in and put stuff in your cart but don't buy it, a week or two later (sorry don't exactly remember) you get an e-mail from them offering 20% off to purchase the stuff in your cart!
I do, but I'm old and don't have much of a flush to my cheeks anymore unless I'm warm or drinking wine!
If you don't need it you're lucky! I also find that having a good brush and a light hand is really key to not looking like Lindsay Lohan.
I never used to because I always felt it made me look too "made up." However I have a lot of redness in my cheeks now and it's difficult to completely cover with foundation and concealer alone. The blush helps to blend over the areas that would otherwise have splotchy redness so it looks more even.
I don't even try to cover it up any more! I feel like it's not as bad since I've gotten older and that's a relief.
I am make-up deficient.
Did you get a cute haircut?
It's not as bad? That's what I'm hoping for, but so far it's gotten worse since I was a teenager. One of these days I'm going to see a derm to check whether or not it's early rosacea. I hope it's not.
What foundation do you use now? I am the opposite of makeup deficient, I need to cull my makeup collection (and I used to want to be a makeup artist).
I got a haircut a while ago, but couldn't get into my profile to actually change anything. Finally it's working, so avatar and sig got updated!
I don't notice it as much, so either it's gotten better or I just check myself out in the mirror less!
The redness is better, but my skin still isn't great. I still get those hormonal break outs. I hate it. No big zits, but small ones here and there that seem to last forever.
I have no loyalty to foundation. Right now I have the Revlon colorstay mineral mousse. I mix it with some moisturizer and apply with a brush, but I don't wear it every day.
I like the hair. It's really cute.
You should try something with retinol in it. I really like the Philosophy Help me or On a Clear Day retinol cream. Since I've been using that my face rarely breaks out anymore (and my breakouts are definitely hormonal). Also, have you ever tried the Clarisonic?
Thanks for the tip, Morty.
I haven't tried the clarisonic. Do you use it? I don't want to shell out for it.
I do use the Clarisonic. I've had it for 3 yrs now and it really has helped my skin.
