OH NO!!! What's the update? I'm glad you seem to be ok, but boo for your car. I'm guessing the other driver went to jail? Let me know if you need anything!
No serious injuries.
Lots & lots of bruising. I hurt in places I didn't think possible.
I have airbag burn on my face & chest. I'm alive.
Thanks so much for the support ladies. Much love.

Wow, I really don't like people like that. I hope you heal quickly.
Hope you checked out ok at the ER. I had airbag burns once - they hurt like a ... well a lot.

Sorry to hear about the bruising. Sounds painful. Was the guy who hit you arrested for DUI?

Well hopefully there is none of that! The thing about Toyotas is they are made to absorb the impact all around the frame but protect the passengers. So while your car is totalled all around, hopefully your frame did what it was engineered to do and while you likely have whiplash and bruising/scrapes, you are not majorly injured.
Still what a pain and what an a$$. Were the police at the scene?

There was neighborhood patrol on scene immediately, and the police and paramedics showed up about 15 minutes later. All possible witnesses bailed immediately. Which was weird because there were at least 10 cars around that intersection. Luckily I was leaving work and a coworker was not to far behind me, so he stopped and called police while I hyperventilated in shock.
Wow. That looks horrific. And that mini - doesn't look bad at all from here. Definitely have to ask, "who knew?"
Ugh - glad your coworker was there and helped you!!

I will forever be grateful for my friend. I was such a wreck afterward, I honestly don't know what I would've done if he didn't stop.
