It's like a repeat nightmare.
J and I got a BFP over a week ago. We got into the doctor this past Friday. Everything looked great. We had another appointment next Monday.
Saturday night I started spotting. Then stopped. I called the doctor anyways and she had me get my betas taken again.
I went from 52 to 27.
I'm so tired of this happening I can't even put it into words.
We're being referred to an RE to see if there is a reason behind these consecutive 6 weeks and 1 day (approx) miscarriage.
Nonetheless, we're taking some time off of TTC. I need some time to get over this. Again.
Sorry I didn't tell you girls right away...I didn't want to get everyone's hopes up to have this happen again...

Lots of hugs...
Uhm actually you do. My progesterone dropped really low and I believe once you get below a 10 your body is proned to miscarriage. Don't quote me on the exact number because I'm sure you will find a way, but its what my dr said.
Thanks for coming back to the board. We were perfectly fine with you being gone though.
ummm can I just say there is no reason to be that way.. it's a public board. I'm not choosing sides here because I don't have a bone to pick with anyone, but this really bothers me when people get this way.

This is most definitely NOT the post to be commenting on someone's medical issues and if you believe they are wrong. Have some compassion for Kari please. End Rant.
I just feel like if you are going to be a part of the board then be a part of the board. Don't come back when you want to make someone feel stupid or sh!tty. This isn't even the right place to say something like that. This thread is about Kari and her having a miscarriage....it would have been nice to send some condolences her way.
True enough.. personally I don't think it was meant in a bad way, but it is easy to have it taken that way. I guess it should have maybe been done differently but it happens.

This exactly! This is about Kari and what she's going through right now. Not for people to be questioning and picking apart other's statements. And I'm no expert, but FWIW I have read extensively that low progesterone levels can lead to m/c and is one of the first things they check when doing b/w and testing.
I couldn't agree more with what Krissy said... the rolling of the eye emoticon really doesn't belong in this post!
Just b/c your progesterone levels are low doesn't mean you are going to have a m/c. Yes, low levels of progesterone can lead to m/c but it isn't a guarantee. Increasing the the progesterone to a more normal level is proactively treating the low levels, but by no means did you almost have a m/c. You either have one or you don't.
