Official Costume Parade Post!
Ok ladies! Time to start posting those cute ToTers! Even if you AWed in a previous post, we want to see those kiddos in costume (handmade, store bought..it doesn't matter)! So, add your LOs to this post for our very own virtual costume parade!

Princess P. I made her tutu
My little scarecrow fairy
My Valentine Bookends (2~13~13, 2~15~09)
Swiped the idea from an Etsy seller. She threw a fit when I first put it on her, but got better when bribed with cheese. She screamed when I took it off too.
I love that I can finally post pics of all my little kids. Sorry - no pics of Colin, he is too cool for pics lol
My Blog
Just finished my Rapunzel dresses on Friday, and hair on Sunday. Pattern was Simplicity something or another:
My Elena on her own:
And my Julia:
6-yr-old Elena and 4-yr-old Julia.
My Blog! All about my girls and quilting
And she's not my child, but my niece and I made her costume. I got the basic jumpsuit/hood from a simplicity pattern and figured out my own way to make it into Blue's Clues:
6-yr-old Elena and 4-yr-old Julia.

My little monster. I didn't make this but I made the hat in the 2nd picture!
I was going to make DS's costume, but I ran out of time. He was a dragon.
Here are my kids. The first one is with my mom and the second one is the one I took with my phone before DS wore his AB costume to school. I still can't get over my little piggy.
(Note to self: Always Nest with Chrome if you are PIP illiterate.)
DD in her lamb costume I knitted. She hated it with a flaming passion.
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

We didn't dress him up in a costume, but here's my little man in his Halloween onesie at 12 days old!
Here's a better angle on DS' Rubik's Cube costume.
These are all fantastic!
JuliaBug, love the family theme.
Dr.L, glad you got a shot of her in the full costume, even if she is fighting your DH to rip the hat off, LOL! You did a great job on the outfit, FWIW.We had an aquarium this year.
Disclaimer..... I would never put this group together in a real aquarium, since the octopus would eat the others.
The octopus bailed on us early on, and spent most of the evening in my lap.
the two fish kept sitting, and at the end of the night, (as you can see) it looked like a fish had swallowed a dog whole, and the dog was coming back out.lol This picture was actually from a 'rehearsal'.
Tired, not dead fish. This was right before we came inside.lol
The snail freaked out at the rehearsal, and the revamp of the costume was a bit more unwieldy, but made her more comfortable. This is not the best picture of her shell, but she spent her time either on the castle or on the rock, either sitting or laying down like this.
It was a success with the trick or treaters, but I kind of want to make changes to the costumes, even though they will probably never be worn again. Well, maybe for pictures. I really want to try to get some good photos. I didn't have any time last night, because we were so busy....a lot of other people got pictures of them.lol
Today I am sore from head to toe....Halloween is hard work.
Here is my little puppy dog!
And me with the teenage mutant ninja turtle costumes I made for my sister and her co-workers, they won first place in the costume contest!
I used a Simplicity pattern for a yellow bird/orange pumpkin costume and then modified it to look like an owl.

My son was Spiderman for Halloween
We rushed the pics because it was cold and starting to rain (hence the polka dot look to the dress), but the kids both had fun anyway. I made both costumes. The Beast hat was a late addition modifying the pattern that CAM had in her blog (so thank you!!!).
We bought a dragon costume for DS's first Halloween. It was too big then (he wore it anyway). We used it again in 2010 for his second Halloween. We went Trunk or Treating last Wednesday and the overalls we bought for his costume were too big, so dragon for a 3rd use:
He was a train engineer last night. I will PIP later. I mom failed last night and took my camera but NOT my memory card, so they are on my moms camera.
Cute costumes everyone!!

Not homemade... but man I wish I would have seen the yarn Rapunzel wigs up there... those are awesome and would have looked much better than the wig I bought her!
Sam was a piece of candy corn for his first Halloween - I just sewed together a few pieces of felt for the costume.
More of a lurker but I thought I'd jump in. She was not kosher with the hat or the broom, she just wanted to carry her glowstick balloons.

Sam and Catherine were matching tigers per Sam's request. C's costume was a 1970s baby bunting pattern that I embellished with tail and a face and belly.
Here are my guys!
My "boys" were the Angry Bird pig and the blue Angry Bird.
