Thanks for coming back to the board.  We were perfectly fine with you being gone though.

ummm can I just say there is no reason to be that way.. it's a public board. I'm not choosing sides here because I don't have a bone to pick with anyone, but this really bothers me when people get this way.

I just feel like if you are going to be a part of the board then be a part of the board.  Don't come back when you want to make someone feel stupid or sh!tty.  This isn't even the right place to say something like that.  This thread is about Kari and her having a miscarriage....it would have been nice to send some condolences her way.

True enough.. personally I don't think it was meant in a bad way, but it is easy to have it taken that way. I guess it should have maybe been done differently but it happens.

Actually..I took it pretty offensively. In fact...I think it's shiitty. If you don't care about what happened to me or what I'm going through, fine. If you don't care if I ever have a baby, fine. But to completely ignore what's happening to me just to call someone else out is completely ridiculous, in my opinion.

Uhm actually you do. My progesterone dropped really low and I believe once you get below a 10 your body is proned to miscarriage.  Don't quote me on the exact number because I'm sure you will find a way, but its what my dr said.

Thanks for coming back to the board.  We were perfectly fine with you being gone though.

Just b/c your progesterone levels are low doesn't mean you are going to have a m/c. Yes, low levels of progesterone can lead to m/c but it isn't a guarantee. Increasing the the progesterone to a more normal level is proactively treating the low levels, but by no means did you almost have a m/c. You either have one or you don't.

My dr said if I didnt get put on the suppositories immediately the risk of miscarriage was high. To me that counts as almost having a miscarriage bc if it wasnt caught that would have been the result.

Laura, please don't feel like you need to defend yourself. The people that matter would never question you on something so serious.

    *more hugs for Kari*

I'm impressed. You would think with those twins to look after she would have something better to do than lurk on the board waiting to throw bitchy comments around and offering her expert opinion on all things pregnancy related.

We all love you Kari AND Laura.

  • Totally copying Liz on this...but...
