Positive pants day!
My new baby cousin is beautiful and sweet with tiny little "cupid, kissy lips", my cousin is glowing and instantly maternal. My family made TONS of comments about me being next and asking when we were going to have kids but I put on a big smile and internally chanted "thankful for the struggle" and answered with a laugh about it being when we were ready. Stronger, better person.
I have the most awesome pedicure. I went with a very dark blue and one of OPI's new big glitter clear coats. It looks like a party on my feet. Very Vegas!
I am also so excited to tell you girls what painting we will paint! Get your votes in ASAP if you haven't!!
Chelsea- I know what you mean! We are currently renting our house and there are so many things I want to do. But then I think, what's the point since we won't be here forever? Its frustrating!
I was having a really crappy day yesterday. Then I had another person call for the side business I started and it made my day! :-)

I have been so lazy lately. I'm in bed, on my way to sleep by 11 every night, and I can barely drag myself up at 7.45! Needless to say, I was late to work this morning. I was supposed to finish up a project today, and it's just not going to happen. Which means, I'll probably be working on it some this weekend, so that it can get finished and turned in by Monday. Lovely. But, I have Pintrest Baked Potato Soup in the crock pot, and big dinner plans for tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary! I am so excited about this weekend.

I see dark colors on nails everywhere but I'm just not sure that it's me. I'm thinking about it....
We have two more weeks left until the Thanksgiving and I know we're all going to be dragging until the end. However, I'm ready!!!!!

Happy Friday, ya'll! Today is DH's birthday. Tonight we are having a birthday dinner with his family...including his newly pregnant sister. I am already beat down by the SIL show that I know I will endure, but I am happy that it keeps everyone off my back about babies for a while!
I have been in a funk since last Thursday when I got some news that bummed me out. But I am finally starting to see the sunshine through the clouds. Looking forward to putting it behind me and moving forward.

Angie, I suppose it would be possible, but I'm not going to push for that. The other guy doesn't tend to treat DH very well, so I'd rather him not have to deal with that.

I went through most of the stuff in our storage shed on our balcony last night and ended up with 3 bags of trash. Crazy that we kept so much junk! But I'm glad that I went through my old cards (saving a couple special ones), I found a gift card to AMC that I never used. I called in and it's still good.

I attempted homemade bread last night. I don't think it's quite right and didn't give myself nor the bread enough time. It's edible, but hard. I will tackle it again on Saturday.

Leslie - I hear the same stuff from my family. It's getting old. I have my follow up from my sono with my doctor on Monday. The tech said that I have a tilted uterus and a lot of follicles on my right ovary. She didn't seem too concerned but I'm anxious to hear what the doctor says.

DH is leaving to go back to PA today. Only a few more months til I'm there too...for good!

I have the SAME problem with our rental house. There are so many improvements I'm dying to make, but there isn't much of a point since we'll be moving in a year. I'm just ready to nest and make a place my own -- totally frustrating.
I have been swamped at work, so have just been lurking here and there. So much to say about everyone's posts from earlier this week, but I'm just too lazy at this point. But I am caught up....finally.
We're going to the Cowboys game on Sunday. So excited -- it will be my first time in the stadium. I feel like I'm slowly getting intiated to the Texas gang - first Ranger, now Cowboy -- and I said "y'all" for the first time today!
Have a great time tomorrow at the BC, sorry to have to miss it.

I hear you ladies on the rental frustrations. We've been renting for the two years I've lived here in TX ... a much older home that is fully furnished and fully decorated with someone else's style.
The house we've bought and are moving to at the end of this month (hopefully) has just blank, boring, unpainted walls right now. But after living in this rental where every room was painted a different and bright color (think lime green, bright yellow, etc) ... I actually think I will keep it boring and blank for a while, haha!
