Quint has started really copying what we do. We have to be careful around him. This morning I found him trying to stick a tampon in his butt.

Oh, Pitt... I am so sorry. I've been avoiding the board lately too because I feel like it is all baby, all the time.
Although Tot's made me LOL!
I felt that way when I was TTC and even more so now after my divorce. I can't imagine how this relates to what you're going through, but you're not alone ((hugs))

I'm also sorry. I AW'd pics the other day at the request of someone and will reply to posts about kids but try to keep my strictly baby-related posts to the bump boards.

My FFFC: Some of the critique I got when presenting my dissertation's theory chapter in our doctoral colloquium a couple weeks ago was on some pretty key points. I talked to my adviser about it and have decided to essentially ignore 90% of what was said (with his approval). I feel like an arrogant jerk for taking up the colloquium's time when I'm not going to actually take their critique seriously, but I'm using a method that most of them don't know much about so their criticism doesn't make sense. Do I sound defensive? I feel it...
I've never gotten a PhD, so take this with a grain of salt... but I feel like if your advisor approves, you must be on the right track. You're not being arrogant if the person in charge agrees with you.
If you're uncomfortable because you think they may have a point, well then that is another, bigger issue.

Non juicy: My H wants me to work with him and help him with his business... I really don't want to. I always just kind of nod and say yeah... I know he is getting tired of my non-initiative to work with him and I think it will cause some problems soon.
Mine three! I'm so used to it that I've 'fallen' into the toilet before when my dad visited, because he put the seat up and it NEVER dawned on me to check.

My confession. I had an all-out temper tantrum this week complete with screaming, yelling, and crying that was WAYYYYYYY out of proportion to the situation at hand and my poor DH who is still in hospital bore the brunt of it on the phone - I even got so mad at him because he wasn't saying what I wanted to hear that I hung up on him. I was a total Biatch - note the capital b. The situation had nothing to do with him and was one that most of the time might slightly annoy me - I might even laugh at it. It wouldn't generally anger me. It was stupid. *sigh*
I just laughed so hard I had to explain myself to DH. He laughed too.
