You should say hi if you spot me on the ground bleeding from the mouth. (Because heaven knows I won't be getting any help from DH!) I'll be the brunette with puffy cheeks and brand new running capris. I'm Niki.
We've been remodeling our kitchen and it's getting close to being done. I'm so excited.
I took the day off and spent the whole day grocery shopping, doing laundry, and cleaning. It feels great to get caught up around the house.
Huskers have been doing pretty good so far this season which is awesome!
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
I bawled in bed this morning on DH's shoulder when I realized my temp had fallen, which means the start of my period. After getting pregnant with Joey by accident I didn't realize we'd actually struggle getting pregnant a second time.
Worked sucked giant donkey balls today and I'm glad it's the weekend.
I am so grateful for my employer. Not only do I still receive full pay and benefits for only work 1/2 days until Isla is born, I still get my full 6-8 weeks paid after she's born too. Working 1/2 days has made such a difference in my pain level!
By the end of the day, my legs are swollen. Last night, I could push on my shin with my finger, and the mark stayed for like 15 minutes! No wonder my legs feel like puffy marshmallows when I squat down. Thankfully my feet aren't swelling yet.
My long-term sub is now teaching my afternoon classes. It's going pretty well, but I never realized how hard of a time I would have sharing with someone else. I am very particular about my art supplies and how they are used, and she does things differently. It drives me nuts, but I know I just need to keep my mouth shut.
DH woke up early on his day off today to make me breakfast. It's totally out of character for him to get up early, so I was extra surprised!
My brother is supposed to be hearing back from a company next Friday about an offer to buy his team's invention. If it is a go, it could mean millions of dollars for them. I am so excited for him, he's such an awesome person, he deserves it!
