I've had some very random light spotting over the past few days. Yesterday it became pretty consistent and there are tiny clots. I'm supposed to go in to the RE on Thursday for a second u/s, but I've put a call in to them to see if they can get me in earlier. I'm really nervous.

Nothing much new other than my big Team Pink news last Friday. The rest of the u/s went well, although at first baby girl was moving all over the place so it took forever to get all the measurements/pictures they needed. Then she finally settled in and wouldn't budge, and she was in a bad position for the pictures of the heart they wanted. They said it looks fine, it's just not the way they like to look at it. They also said it looks like she has some extra fluid in her kidneys - still within the normal range so nothing to worry about, but they want me to come back in a month for another u/s to get the pictures of the heart and check the kidneys. I would have loved a 100% clean bill of health, but I'm not worried and am excited to see her again in a month!

ETA: Kelly, I forgot to say how cute the border looks! Nice!

All is fine here so far. I went back in for more blood work on Friday to make sure everything is progressing. They should have the results after 4 today but I have a mtg at 3 so I'm not sure if I can get them today or will have to wait til tomorrow. M/S has definitely set in but its more like afternoon/evening sickness. I am fine as long as I eat every couple hours until about 3pm but then I feel like crap until I go to bed. I have been having cramps quite a bit and also getting what I think is round ligament pain, hoping those are all good signs!! I am counting down the days (15!) until my first US!!!!

Heather I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with spotting! Sending lots and lots of prayers for you and LO !! But I'm sure you don't need it and are just fine

All is good here. I have my biweekly appt today and a parenting class tonight. I'm taking Prilosec for the heartburn now so I've been so much better and I'm just really hungry all the time now. I just found out that Quaker Oatmeal Squares cereal (buy one get one at Publix this week) are the tastiest little nuggets on earth.

They think that I've gotten dehydrated (the airplanes and hotels I've been staying in have been really dry) and it causes my cervix to become more sensitive to irritation that's common when inserting progesterone. The plan of action is to take it easy, drink a ton of water, and change the way I'm inserting my progesterone. If anything changes (amount of spotting, larger clots, etc) they will have me come in immediately, but for now, they're keeping my appointment to Thursday.

Well cheers to that, and get to drinkin lady Bottoms up! (coincidentally bottoms up is also what I'm aiming for, literally a baby bottom, lol!) But just this morning I am pretty sure I can tell she is moving to where she is supposed to be, whew!!!

We found Zoe standing up in her crib yesterday! We put it down to the lowest level so she won't fall out if she does it again. I can't believe how big she is getting! I think another tooth is going to pop up because she is being a little extra cranky, which for her still isn't really that bad. She is almost done with swimming lessons. Today she was floating on her own for a pretty decent amount of time. I am so proud of her! She really seems to like the water, too, which I am happy about.

H asked me last night when my next OB/GYN appt is for my annual pap. I told him April. He told me maybe I could get an IUD placed. Indifferent Not what I wanted to hear. I was hoping to be at least TTC by then. Oh boy, here we go again. It was really late and I wasn't going to get into that dicussion with him last night. I did tell him that there was no way I was going to go on any type of hormonal BC ever again. I love not having a headache every single day.

The dr. just called. My beta at 28dpo was 41010. He said that is good and I can move up my US appt if I want to. Just need to talk to DH to find out when he can go because he will be out of town all this week! yay for moving up my US!!!!

Mason is getting so big and changing so much. He smiles at everyone which is so nice because those smiles melt your heart!

We had a busy weekend with a trip to Orlando to visit friends and shop at the outlet mall. Then yesterday we got together with family for dinner which was nice. Busy weekend and I am super tired. The one thing I have noticed about being a mom is you never have time for anything, haha. My house is a mess and we are moving so that has added even more stuff to the already messy house. All I know is the rest of the year is going to be crazy!

DH is for sure sticking to his 1 kid rule after spending time with his friend this weekend who has a 4 month old and a 3 year old. Hopefully I can change him mind in a few years and we can have another one. I am ready now but I know he is for sure not and who knows if he ever will be.

We have his 4 month doctors visit next week so I will be interested to see how he well he is progressing and what new things we can start doing with him. I feel like I have no clue what I am doing since I am a first time mom. Its so nice to have these boards to read to hear about things and what others are doing.

Jen - I feel your pain. After spending the weekend with a friend of DH's from high school I dont think we will ever have any more kids. DH's friend has a 4 month old and a 3 year old and its hard work. After we left seeing them DH said he is good with one and doesnt want anymore kids. He has always felt that way and now this weekend just put the nail in the coffin. Hopefully I can get him to change his mind in a few years. However DH's parents dont help the situation at all! They always tell us how expensive having 2 kids is and how much work it is. Sometimes I just want to shoot them!!! Just because they chose to only have DH doesnt mean we have to follow in their foot steps!! Uggg can you tell I am over them right now.

Kennedy is doing good, and finally appears to be over her cold. I'm so relieved that we made it through her first illness with out any issues. I was so scared because of her heart. She's doing great otherwise, and eating more and more. I think my days of buying baby food are pretty limited, because she's mostly eating what we do now. I'm so excited for the holidays, and I have to admit, I'm going a little out of control.

I had some bleeding last week, as a result they brought me in for an u/s. They said everything looked fine, thank goodness. Probably just a sensitive/aggravated cervix, told me to take it easy for a couple days and call if it got worse than a period or I had bad cramps. I haven't had any more bleeding since Friday, hopefully that will be the end of it. The silver lining to the stress was that we now know we are having a girl! H and I are very excited!

Heather - I hope your spotting stops and you have a great appt on Thursday!

It has been an interesting week! Definately a big adjustment going from the two of us to the three of us... but we are so in love with our sweet boy... he really is a good baby and only cries when he needs something. i cant get him to sleep in a bassinet or anything though.. he likes to be cuddled up right next to me at night.. so despite all the warning signs- co sleeping it is until we figure something else out... but heres some pics!:

We had our shower this weekend, and it was really nice to see mine and DH's families. I was super bummed to leave my parents though and won't get to see them again until the baby is here

Baby is doing well. She kicks and punches me all the time. She's head down now and I'm hoping she stays that way for the next 11 weeks or so.

I'm ok, but life is so chaotic right now that I feel really stressed all the time. DH and I may be moving back into Chicago, an hour away from the only family we have out here, for me to start a new job, less than 2 months before we have a baby. AHH!
