Re: PG/Mom Check-In
Heather, I am sorry to hear that, keeping you in my thoughts.
Lila's personality is showing more and more every day. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter, happier baby. Tonight I was laying on the floor, letting her crawl around and she kept crawling up to me to lay her head on me and then let out one of her little "love noises" (at least that's what I call them). Its the cutest thing ever! I think her saying "Mama" was a fluke. She said it two days in a row and now is mute. Lila started to jump/ try to lunge out of my arms a lot, so we decided to buy her a jumper. I found one for $10 on craigslist (score), scrubbed it down and she absolutely loves it! I thought just having the excersaucer was enough, but it doesn't even compare to the jumper. On Saturday, she actually bounced herself out. I walked away for a few minutes and came back to this:
Married Bio
Brett and Emma have not been adjusting to the time change!! They are so tired and cranky by 6PM. I am trying so hard to stretch it to 7 but no luck so far this week. Anyone else dealing with this?
Emma was standing up and holding on to my hair yesterday. I unraveled her fingers from my hair and then realized that she was now standing on her own! Then she took two steps towards me to grab my hair, again. I was freaking out excited but bummed I didn't get her first steps on camera
Also yesterday Brett was reaching for my iced coffee and crying every time I moved it away. Finally I let him chew on the straw. I didn't realize he could suck through a straw and I saw him start sucking the coffee up!!! I know he didn't get any coffee in his mouth because I yanked it away from him but I was just shocked he could even use a straw! Of course he cried his eyes out because he's at a stage where everything he gets a hold of is his new favorite thing and taking it away from him leads to a huge cry fest.
Everything has been going pretty well but I just cannot wait to have a week off for Thanksgiving. Only 7 school days left!!!!!!!
