Hello! I'm sorry I've been sort of MIA. I've said it once, but it still applies, this has been such a crazy school year for me. It's like my first year teaching...again! I could use your help with ereaders, in particular the kindle.
I think we're going to bite the bullet and get a kindle. I know I don't want the new fire because I only want it as an ereader and I know I want the eink. However, my question is, and this is where you all come into play, do I get the kindle with a key pad or without? What does one do with the key pad?
I'm so nervous about switching over to the ereader, any advice you all want to share with me would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Re: Kindle users
things. Please don't hate me!
I vote keypad, hands down. I don't use mine much, but I when I do I prefer that the screen I'm reading from not get all 'fingerprinty'.
Bio Good Times
Alright, it sounds like a keypad is needed! Thanks ladies.
Oh, and I miiiiiiissss you guys! Have a great day!
Mine has a full keyboard. No toggles.
This. PS, you're going to love the Kindle. I don't think I've heard of anyone ever saying, Man, I wish I'd gotten so-and-so other e-reader!
Which one do you have? There are so many different versions it's getting confusing.
Kindle 3
My new favorite word for the day.
So, I've read reviews that don't like the nook and now the new Kindle Fire because they both are back lit which eventually puts strain on the eyes.
Would I be safe in telling Brad that I want the Kindle 3? By safe I mean, no back light (eink only), no crazy games, or apps BUT still have the ability to download books where ever.
I think you would be fine.
BTW, I totally wasted my money last night and got a mani/pedi. I probably could have paid my water bill or something.
