QOTD Wednesday (indulgences)
If you had to give up one of the following for a year, which would you choose: chocolate, cheese, or alcohol?
Re: QOTD Wednesday (indulgences)
Alcohol.
I gave up chocolate one time for Lent (not Catholic but wanted to anyway), and it wasn't pretty. The only thing that got me through was Reese's Pieces, which I never realized didn't have chocolate in them.

Chocolate, no question. I can satisfy my sweet tooth with caramel or something else, but nothing could EVER replace cheese, or, of course, booze, for me.
I think I'd choose chocolate, but it would really suck.
Alcohol.
Tough one, though.
Booze!
But this is a pretty easy one for me since I don't drink.
Of the indulgences I actually DO partake of - I guess chocolate but man, this is like Sophie's Choice here!!

Cheese. I already don't drink alcohol. I have a serious chocolate-tooth, and giving that up would be taking away my last vice - I can't!!

Don't make me choose!!
I guess cheese.

So tough.
Alcohol. I didn't have any while pregnant and that was almost a year.
Chocolate for sure!
Cheese is a staple in my diet, and some days I just NEED a glass of wine. Can't help it.
You get to keep both cheese and chocolate, since you've already given up alcohol!

i was going to say the same thing!
easy!!
I don't drink much at all, maybe had half a glass in the last year
so - alcohol
I guess alcohol. I became very, very good friends with O'Doul's Amber and Virgin Mary's whilst pregnant. I could do that again for a sad, lonely year.
Conversely, I could not go without cheese while bfing. I couldn't have cow's milk, but I ate the hell out of manchego and chevre.
Ugh! Why do I have to choose? I would have to do chocolate. I can get sweet from something else but stay away from my wine and cheese!
