  Why would it be a wake up call now?  They were together before and it didn't help Ted get his act together.

  I know that I'm in the minority here... but the pregnancy timeline is not a big deal to me at all. It's a sitcom and for the most part the storylines have been really consistent.
  In terms of last nite's episode - repping the minority again - I squealed when Barney and Robin kissed. Is Barney funnier when he is a womanizer? Sure! And Robin is much more fun as a single girl. But this doesn't mean that they are going to jump right into relationship mode. kwim?
  I was cracking up at Marshall's Poe-like ramblings while gazing at the ravens on the mantel. Lol'ed at Robin and Lily wanting to know where Ted got his boots too. Everyone keeps saying this has been a throw-away season, but I still love this show!

  I feel exactly the same way.  Im so so happy Barney and Robin are going down that road again.  The slaps story line is always hilarious and I love that Marshall has more slaps left now. 

  Some episodes are better than ever, but I never not laugh at least once an episode.

  You're right, but on the other hand it seems like their first relationship was more of a sexual one, so if they're going to use Barney/Robin to make Ted shake up his life a bit then maybe that's the excuse they'll use (that their first relationship was more like a fling/f*ck-buddy type of thing). If the relationship is more serious and mature this time around (especially if it's Robin that Barney ends up marrying), then maybe that'll change Ted's attitude toward his own life.

  Finally caught up with this week's episode.

  I HATE HATE HATE Robin and Barney together.  It's just such a tired storyline to me - we have opposite sex friends, so we're going to have them get together (see 4 of the 6 friends on Friends).

  And it totally cracks me up how upset everyone gets about the pregnancy timeline/storyline - totally makes no difference to me.
