Re: SA Wednesday
My husband LOVES WoW! before he and I started dating, he was playing about 90 hours a week. Then when we started dating, and got engaged, he played about 10-20 hours a week. Now that we're married, he really doesnt play it that often anymore. Hes moved on to Gears of War 3, and some other games that I have no idea what they're called. He was also playing WarCraft. I'm more of a Wii person. I cant get into PC games.
I will play the zombie games. I love killing zombies.
that's SUPER awesome! I'd love to order some of those for my dh for xmas! i was in an eadp (emergency awareness and development planning) class for the public admin side of my degree in college, and we got to read the emergency plan a florida student wrote on zombie apocolypse. soooo cool!
we're addicted to watching the walking dead, and survivors(bbc tv) on our roku netflix.
That is funny/clever! We changed our zombie plan last night to Cabela's rather than Home Depot. Lots of guns, ammo, camping supplies, freeze dried and real food, etc.
At work now, so I can do a longer post.
Randall's test results came back yesterday. He has normal numbers on everything. While this is good news for us, it is a little bittersweet for me as it means if there is a problem, it is mine.
A person at work has been super-sick for like two weeks with a HORRIBLE cough, congestion, etc but refuses to go to the dr or stay home, claims it is allergies. We work together a lot and they give me a lot of documents and use my computer for things when I am not here. I leave for Vegas tomorrow and this morning I had a chest burning cough. I now have a ton of nasal congestion and drainage.
I am so effing mad I just want to go into their office and rail on them. DH needs me to take him to the car dealership tomorrow morning and since doing that will only leave me with two hours of work, I am probably just going to instead take those two hours and go to the doctor to get a shot, some meds before going to the airport.
People are SO RUDE when it comes to this kind of stuff. No one likes to take off work, get behind and so on....but it is just plain irresponsible to expose others to your illness.
I just talked to my boss about tomorrow and mentioned that I was a little frustrated about the whole situation. He pointed out the germs could be from anywhere, which is true but still annoying.

It is true that they can come from anywhere but the likelihood that they came from the coworker are pretty good considering the close contact and germs. I would be annoyed too. I have a coworker that is like this and luckily she hasn't gotten sick yet but she never goes to the doctor and we all end up sick at work. She says it's not here and it's just allergies but then why are we all sick?
Well what a coincidence that you picked up the exact same germs she picked up. It's a small world, really. Especially for germs.*
*Dripping with Sarcasm.
Leslie - that stinks about the germs... hopefully your doc will give you some good stuff so you can enjoy your trip! And, I'm glad you got some good news from the other doc, even if it is bittersweet. I'm still bummed that we weren't able to have a G2G in the waiting room.
Thanks Angie. Maybe we can get something together if we have to go for further treatment. My gyn has a super nice waiting room with little groups of chairs/couches that would be great for book club.
