Re: OL Tuesday
Dear body,
Why oh why did you have to wake up feeling like crap?! I can't afford to miss work and this means I miss free lunch at work and bootcamp tonight :-( Not a great start to the day. Stop feeling achy and weak! :-(

Dear nesties,
I'm going to B&M a little. I went to my doctor's appointment and didn't make it back online, but I apparently compacted my meniscus. Which means no squating, running, jogging, or extensive walking for the next three weeks at least. I sign up for the turkey trot but I'll just be hanging out on the side lines. You know it's when you can't do something that you want to do it the most.

Dear lower back pain - I really need you to go away. I am pretty sure I know the source of the pain and I also need that to go away. - Leslie
Dear Sarah and Deepthi - I am sorry to hear that you are both not feeling well. I hope both of you are on the mend quickly and things return to normal. - Leslie
Dear In-Laws,
Please be kind to us when we're visiting you next weekend. I'm trying to approach this time together with an open heart and an optimistic attitude, but I think you're about one underhanded comment from never seeing us again.

Your daughter in law who really isn't all that terrible, I promise
Mack,
Thank you for being proud of me, since it was my idea that we try to see your folks over Thanksgiving. Thank you for recognizing how hard that is for me. More than anything, thank you for rewarding this good deed by saying I can decorate for Christmas THIS Thursday instead of next Friday. You know how to make my heart happy.

Your Christmas-Crazed Wife!
You better hide from Tiffany. Seriously.
Speaking of Tiffany - where are you dude? - Leslie
Leslie and Sarah - Sorry you guys are hurting too! Hopefully we will all feel better, just caught up on B&M. We all need a long vacation.
Chelsea - Best of luck! It does take a lot to take those comments and you can't really say anything back because they aren't your parents. Why are you putting up your decorations early?? Just curious and nosy.

Haha! I'm all prepared for Tiffany to chew on me.
But I figure since I'm not making her actually LOOK at it, she might let me have it.
We have a wedding this weekend, four shoots next week, and we'll be out of town on Thanksgiving and now all of Thanksgiving weekend. So I'm decorating toward the end of this week, but I won't turn the lights on the tree until we get home on the Saturday night after Thanksgiving. I want to be able to just flick a switch, and BAM, Christmas.
Dear Tiffany-
While running through the neighborhood last night, I looked at the houses that already had their outdoor Christmas lights on and burning and shook my head. Inside, I was saying...Tiffany would be so mad at you.

Chelsea - yay for early decorations! I am seriously considering putting mine up this weekend - I like coming home from the TG visits and having it done and waiting for me
Nesties - lots to say.
-The photography spammer posted in that RI thread too - just in case someone wants to delete it as well.
-I am SO excited to be taking all of next week off. But, I have lots to do this week to not be stressed out next week, so I have to get my butt in gear.
-I have another Pinterest Soup in the crockpot for tonight, but I modified it a bit. It smelled yummy, so I'm very excited for dinner tonight! It has rotel & ranch dressing mix, so I can't decide what kind of bread to have with it (tortillas, corn bread, or crescent rolls).
-I am irritated with people on FB. Yesterday, purely by coincidence, four people passed away in/around my hometown. People were posting it almost like announcements, and I don't think it had been all that long since some of them happened. I have a very strong feeling about posting death announcements on FB, mainly because one of the big offenders has been wrong before, and yet she still continues to do it. I realize I could just unfriend her, but I feel like maybe I should tell her that's not ok, just in case all of the family hasn't been notified. Also, she isn't the only one who does it. WDYT?
Dear Dh's boss,
You suck! I like how for the 3rd month in a row now you have "forgotten" to do payroll so that he gets paid on time. It's really getting old!
-annoyed wife of your faithful employee-
Dear dr office,
please call back asap so I can get the stupid approval to my insurance company for my heartburn meds. I started this process last week and I still don't have any meds. Eating hurts and I'm starving. Please call!
-burning in pain-
Dear cooler weather,
please come back and stay a while. I like the pretty days like yesterday and today but I want to wear my cute winter clothes. It's hard to get into the holidays when I'm wearing short sleeves and flip flops!
-me-
Dear Land O Lakes-
I have shopped at 5 or 6 different stores throughout Denton, Corinth and Lewisville to find your Tiramisu Hot Chocolate mix to no avail. What's up? I suppose I will order it online.
Dear various shoe stores and companies-
Why do you have no love for people with ginormous feet? Famous Footwear had nothing over a size 9, nothing. It just boggles my mind. You also don't make half sizes over 10, which is really strange because I don't see many shoes over size 11. Why can't you just make one more size?
Dear grandpa-
13 missed phone calls? Really? Voice mails and texts and tracking both myself and my husband down at work? Really?
Dear Leslie, Deepthi, Sarah,
Hope you all get to feeling better.
Leslie, happy late birthday, and glad you had a great time in Vegas!
Dear Chelsea,
Someone else told me how they put up lights last weekend outside because it was so nice out. I'm kind of kicking myself for not doing that. But the weather looks optimistic for this weekend, so I may put them up early. Tiffany, I promise not to light them until Thanksgiving.
Dear Bootcamp girls,
How was last week? I'm going tonight and kind of nervous.
Dear Sarge (my pooch),
I know you LOVE to bark and whine the entire car ride, but it has to stop. The training we have been in the past 6 weeks must be working, you were quiet almost the entire ride home Sunday. Yay!

Dear Leslie,
I was on vacation yesterday. Swamped today. Cosmo woke me up twice last night to go out so I didn't get to sleep.

Dear Sarah,
Sorry you feel bad. You better hit up the OJ today and suck it up 'cause your coming to boot camp tonight!!
-Me
Dear Tiffany - Glad to see you today although I am doubly glad I am not doing boot camp with your hard assed self. - Leslie
It was fun! I was definitely sore afterwards! :-p I am sad that I can't come and actually meet you tonight :-( But I'm going to the doctor and will hopefully be better by Thurs!

Dear girl on GP who is annoying the crap out of me every day - You are one of the most annoying people I have ever "read." All of your posts have such a b!tchy undetone. Some days I wish we did FFF over there. - Leslie
Dear DFW Nesties - Over on GP the "words" preggers and prego for pregnant are not looked upon kindly. I have an opinion but want to know how you guys feel about them, or if you even care if someone uses them. - Leslie
Also the M&M store in Las Vegas was already blasting holiday tunes. I thought of you.
To all those who are in pain or not feeling well, I hope you're all on the mend soon! Hopefully your Thanksgiving breaks will be relaxing, not stressful.
Dear Nesties,
My phone interview is this afternoon at 1. I would greatly appreciate any vibes, positive thoughts, prayers, juju, etc. that you have to spare. I've done many many interviews over the last three years, but I want this one more than any other, so I'm feeling a little freaked out.
Sara - I just saw your post, that's too funny!
Michelle - It is a lot of fun, but it is very intense. Jay himself has been at our camp twice so far, but I think that Kevin (the regular trainer, I think) was way harder than Jay. I think you will enjoy it, though!
Also, to all Nesties: Saturday is "Jay Day" so anyone can come out and do a boot camp workout for free if your interested! There are apparently hundreds of people there.
I dislike them both, strongly. Seriously, they are awful. What's wrong with pregnant or expecting?
Lots of juju headed your way, Anna! I'm sure you're going to rock it!
And Leslie, I couldn't possibly care any less what word someone uses for pregnant. I can't believe there are people who actually take time to get annoyed about something like that.
Anna,
Sending luck, wishes, juju, stars, fairy dust - everything I have your way.
Leslie,
I'm guilty of using 'prego'. In a group of four friends, two of our friends were pregnant, about five weeks apart. My other friend and I referred to them lovingly as the pregos.
We were not trying to be rude or anything of that nature. Like I said, lovingly.
ETA: I also now refer to both of their children as 'the babies'. So, really, I think it was just a grouping thing for me.
#1 - I like you, so you get a pass.
#2 - Ditto for Anna!
Anna - GOOD LUCK!
And I agree with Chelsea about the words. Are they my favorite? Nah. Do they bother me or annoy me. Not in the least.
Prego does make me hungry for spagetti though.

Dear Leslie, I'm with Chelsea--I couldn't care less.
Dear Angie, I have the potato soup in the crockpot for tonight. I'm really hoping it's good because if not, we have no dinner.
Dear Anna, I put 1:00 on my calendar and will shut my door and be in prayer for you during that time. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
Dear Chelsea, you are a bigger woman than I am. I can't imagine speaking to my in-laws if they treated me like that, much less spending a holiday with them.
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
In every day life preggers annoys me, prego I can deal with but it still grates a little.
On TN the girls who use these words tend to be letting us know that they are pregnant when they have never posted before which always stings a little, they are just huge idiots who sound exactly like the people Angie posted about or most likely a fun and engaging combination of both. It grates on me quite a bit more in those situations.
My thoughts, exactly!
Anna, Good vibes, juju, and all that your way!

Cheese and bacon are key. Plenty of both, and the soup will be amazing. Oh, and cornbread goes realllllly well with it too!!
