Re: PG/Mom Check-In
This weekend is my baby shower and I'm super excited. Mom is hosting it and won't tell me anything other than the time, place, and overall theme. Even the majority of the guest list is a surprise but I did find out some family is coming from quite a distance away. Junior is bouncing and moving a lot now. We're just starting to clear out the room for the nursery and with just 100 days until the due date we still have a lot to do!
I've had good luck finding maternity clothes at consignment shops. My favorite is Stellie Bellies in Palm Harbor.
I must give you kudos because I don't know how you worked this long with your job. I've been thinking about you quite a bit and can't wait to see pics when your LO arrives!
This is going to be my unsolicited opinion as a soon-to-be pediatric PT. It is SO important developmentally. It's the only time in life that we get dynamic stabilization through our shoulder joints and it helps with upper body and core strengthening. Is it the end of the world when kids skip? No, just helpful.
We were just in CT visiting the in laws and had a great trip! I learned to let go and my ILs were more respectful of our wishes with Zoe.
We go to NC in 16 days to see my family. Craziness! Zoe did great on all the flights. She is such a little traveler. Everyone loved her big smiles and dancing.
This is her last week of swimming and I couldn't be more proud. She floats like a champ and stays calm when she swallows little sips of water. I can't wait to do her lessons again next year when she does a swim-float-swim sequence. Since she is so young she has only learned how to float. I highly recommend ISR lessons!!
Thank you, Amy, for your advice. I appreciate it. I've been trying to read up on it, and there is the opinions of professionals on this subject vary a bit- from so, so important to not a big deal at all. I can certainly see the benefits of it and will continue working with her and doing all I can try not let her skip this step. Also, I didn't know that is what you've been going to school for. How awesome.
Not a whole lot going on here. I have the girls in a nice daycare. They are sick....AGAIN. Abigail has an ear infection. Fabulous. 3weeks, two colds x 2 babies = tired momma.
Junie! I hope your U/s goes well! Let us know ASAP!
Heather, I'm glad that you have a plan to go ahead. I have my fingers crossed for you.
Kaley, that is a darling little man you have there. Heartbreaker, for sure!
