Need your good thoughts and prayers on Thursday
I am having laparoscopic surgery Thursday morning. My RE is doing this so he can look at things from the outside. My tubes are not functioning properly and he thinks there are adhesions/scar tissue from my last surgery that is causing the problems. If he can repair it, without causing more damage he wll fix it and we can try to get pregnant naturally or with IUI. If he can't my only option would probably be IVF.
He thinks there is bowel attached to my uterus, so there is a complication of puncturing my bowel...which would be very, very bad. So, we won't think about that.
I am very nervous and anxious for this. I hope I am due for some good news and he is able to release or remove the cause of my problems.
This is the reason I won't be able to go to the UofH game. I'm sad I'll miss it, but need to get this done now so we can try to move on. DH will just have to celebrate and enjoy College Game Day without me.

Hoping, praying and wishing that your tubes are free and clear. Maybe a little chromotubation during the scope can help to clear any pesky blockages.

If it helps, on one of my laproscopies I did have bowel adhesions adn they fixed it easily. They have to tell you there's a chance of tearing and you'll probably do the empty your stomach diet to have minimum risk if there is. But it's not too common to have tearing. The worst part is drinking the stuff the day before.
