Re: SA Wednesday!
There's definitely shades of gray to the topic. Since your doctor was thorough about what things needed to happen before she/he would admit you and induce, then I think it's different than not being dialted... no sign of birth anytime soon... and bam, induction.
And Chelsea - I will have you know that when I spell check my posts, it tries to correct your SN to "Superman". That.is.awesome.

Don't be embarassed!
You need a hug.

Leslie - T&Ps for you, hon. Please keep us posted, and take advantage of these ladies offering help, should you need it. I'd offer, but I'm pretty far away... but I can pray!
Angela - so freakin cute.
I have a 2.5 hour webinar training now, and my phone headset won't work. It's going to be a long morning!
Winning!
Yeah, I can't imagine being induced if your body hadn't already started the process. Labor isn't supposed to work "cold" like that... your body warms up to it for DAYS. I was already contracting and dilating and effacing on my own... we just gave the process a good kick in the butt. Which we might have needed to do anyway, because Jack had to be chased out with a friggin' cattle prod. My uterus is just too comfy, I guess.
C-sections are a different beast, though. They scare me. I'm not going to tell someone else what they should do with their body, but I really can't see how that's better for the mom OR the baby (unless it's an emergency situation or medically necessary). Elective major abdominal surgery just seems irresponsible to me.
I'm so glad to be home! We had a blast, only rode 5 rides (crazy, huh?), shopped, met characters (Hello, Flynn Ryder!), and sat by the pool. We also might have done something stupid/incredible (depending on your point of view) and we have nine days to make up our minds.
Can one of you girls going to the Carrollton boot camp send me the link? I think Bill and I would like to do this.
Leslie,
T&P's your way.
Leslie - I just saw this. T&P to you, and don't feel embarassed!
All this baby talk every day makes me feel out of place. I don't mind it or anything, I just don't really have anything to say anymore.
I thought about adding a warning for you to that picture. Don't worry, I have a few more years to go before I'm having one (or adopting one, if that's how it works out), so I'll still be here on your "no-babies" team.
Angela - so cute.
Leslie - I agree with Brianna. You need a hug.
::hugs::
Don't be embarrassed, though. You are going through a lot right now. Plus, you are scared, don't feel well and you are sleep deprived. That's enough to bring me to tears, without any other factors being involved.
ADORBS!
I babysat an 10 month old yesterday...not good for baby fever...at all!
Haha, thanks. Pictures are always welcome!
Haha, sorry! We can change the subject.

Aww I would be feeling the same way!! Don't even worry about it.
I have my Black Friday deals mapped out - I know what stores I am going to, what I am getting and what time I need to get to each one.
I am so excited.

Details!
Black Friday SCARES me. I've never been and just the thought of it makes me uneasy. How do you deal with all those crowds and crazy aggressive people?
Leslie, I agree with everyone else you have nothing to be embarassed about. How are you doing?

Welllllll.... I mainly do Black Friday shopping for Cadence's Christmas - here is my list so far:
Keep in mind, not ALL of this will be from "Santa" or even from us. And she also gets clothes, shoes and socks. I pick things up for my grandmother to give to Cadence, so she doesn't have to get out in the mess. I have to figure out what other various presents I may pick up, but this is the major stuff!

Ditto!
Jaymi-that is hilarious!
Leslie-waiting on pins and needles to find out what is happening!
Courtney-you look AMAZING in your B&G/TTD or whatever it was. It so makes me want to do it.
Angie-the soup was not a hit with Ben. It was OK but I don't think I'd make it again. I think the consistency was wrong--it was really thick. But, it was a good way to use up the leftover potatoes I had.
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
Details???
I will tell you that it's not even half as bad as it's played up to be. Most of the time everyone in line talks, cuts up, shares blankets and there's almost a camaraderie. It's fun!
Bio
I hope it is something fun and exciting!
Me too!
Did you sign up for a Disney time share or something? I would have said baby, but the 9 days is throwing me off.
Do Share!!
Brianna, what website do you use for the black friday deals? Usually I am way ahead of where I am now and have everything planned out too but I am slacking. I am weird and get a lot of my household items (lotion, body wash, beauty products) on black friday.
Leslie- I am waiting anxiously too.
Courtey- I agree with everything Stephie said about your pics
Julie- Share
BL - I used bfads.com
I also love to find the lotions and blankets and other little odds and ends gifts. I never write them down or map them out, but I always end up sticking them in my basket!

Thanks! It was a lot of fun
I had some champagne I wanted to explode all over us, but we ran out of light.
Maybe next year!
You should go for it! I actually didn't end up damaging my dress anymore than it was.
Thank you!
Hey girls - thanks for all the T&P and concern, it means a lot to me. It turns out I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured last night. My doctor did an ultrasound and my uterus is full the of fluid that was inside the cyst which is causing the continued dull pain today. From the amount of fluid she estimated the cyst was likely about the size of an orange. I actually get cysts quite frequently (not generally this large) but unfortunately the only treatment for them is hormonal birth control, which obviously wouldn't work very well for us right now. She gave me a strong pain med shot -which is pretty awesome I must say - and also some pills to take but that is all she could really do.
Baby-talk, look away Tiffany: TTC was not really on my mind this appointment as I was more worried about getting the pain to stop but she brought it up at the end of the appointment since DH's test results were at the top of my chart. We talked about it and are going to start testing next cycle and if everything checks out well, she mentioned doing un-medicated IUI the following cycle. I am on the fence about whether I want to do this with my GYN or move on to a fertility specialist but the cost at my GYN is about $250 and the cost with a fertility specialist is about $1250, these costs are out of pocket, so I might consider doing a couple of cycles with my GYN then moving on to medicated cycles if needed. Lots to think about.
