I really do too, I forgot my work ID this morning because I switched bags before I had coffee. Sigh.

black, although now I hardly carry one because I throw eveyrthing into the diaper bag, which is also black.
Dark yellow, kind of like mustard. I need to change it but I hate switching purses.
The best bag I ever had to go with everything was actually red. It looked great with brown, black, navy, etc... It was a really true red, not to orange or pink. My cat peed on it and I have never ordered a replacement but it was Hobo brand and after shopping around a lot, they offer the best "red" to go with everything. This might be my next purchase

This. Mine is a brown leather Fossil bag I have had for 2 years.
Me, too. Current bag is red patent leather with gold accents. It works with everything - but I have a patent nude/champagne colored bag if I need something neutral for whatever reason.
In general, though, I prefer a pop of color in my handbag because my wardrobe tends to be fairly monochromatic - my next bag will be a replacement for the patent lime green "alligator" print bag I had a couple years ago and loved.
Right now I'm carrying one that is a snakeskin print with leather straps.
I usually carry a black pebbled leather hobo. I own like 5 of them, each one a little different. I have a problem.
Canvas Black (Coach), with black "C"s on it. I used to alternate between the black one and brown (Coach leather) one, but now I am too lazy. ;-)
I had a red patent one (Coach, as well) for a long time that I loved that I felt went with everything, but the bottom started peeling off. I really like the gray/silver ones, too - it's a good neutral.
Ditto...I stick with mine until it "dies". lol
