Twilight - Breaking Dawn Part I *Spoilers*
So what did you think?
Thought it was pretty good, when I could get my mind off of how skinny Bella was (even at the beginning in the wedding before the whole baby is sucking the life out of me stuff). I thought that after the whole wedding and honeymoon, I would be like okay it can be over because the wedding was the part I was looking forward to most, but the rest kept my attention.
My DH thought it was the best in the saga so far, so that is saying something!
Re: Twilight - Breaking Dawn Part I *Spoilers*
Loved every second of it!!! Although the part where the pack was talking in the wolf forms was kinda cheesey (with the voice-overs).
Bella during her sick, skinny scenes was naaaasty!!!
I love how they incorporated the Bella/Edward love songs from the other movies throughout this film.
Are you guys crazy? I loved the other ones, and was embarrassed to even have paid $11 to see that one because it was SO horrible.
Currently Reading: Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes
I too, thought it was the best in the series yet. My favorite part was the end when she opened her eyes. I hated the part with the wolf pack - very cheesy. I can't imagine how many fans are going to try and recreate the decor from that wedding this year.
Baby was born. Ended when Bella opened her eyes after Edward changed her.
Can someone confirm whether there is an extra scene after the credits?
Yes. I'd say 90% of the people in the theatre missed it when I went last night.
What was it? We missed it because we bolted. Our theater was having technical difficulties and the movie didn't start until after 1:00 a.m. Though I loved the movie I was ready to get the hell out of there.
How graphic did it get? I read the book, and I know she got really sick to her stomach while on their HM, and then was really sick on the couch drinking blood back at the Cullen house until the baby was born, but I'm not sure how much of all this they show and how graphic they get with it.
I get really nauseated when they actually show someone throwing up on tv/movies, but if they just allude to it I'm ok. I just need to know if I need to brace myself...lol.

The birth scene is from Bella's point of view, so everything is really chaotic and it's like she's blinking her eyes. It doesn't "show" him eating the baby out but it definitely shows him going in for the womb and he comes up with blood all over his mouth.
It was the Volturri being informed of the new Cullen Clan addition (Bella, not the baby). Basically a teaser for the "war" in part 2.
Oh, Stephanie Meyer. Such an imagination you have.
There were vomit scenes but no visible puke. They made her look very skeletal, very pale and bruised.
The scene where she drank the blood was pretty gross because they did a close up of her face and she had blood on her teeth and lips.
Thanks.. that I can handle. But I'm sure my stomach will churn a bit when she's drinking the blood.
And when we go see it, I'll be sure to stay til the end to see the last scene.

i seem to remember the birth part being told from both Jacob and Bella's point of view in the book. but yeah, to keep the PG-13 rating, I'm sure they had to keep it as clean as they could.
it has to do with the baby and the volturri thinking the Cullen's are getting too strong/powerful. Part 2 is also all about Bella becoming a vampire and learning to adjust to her new lifestyle.

To be honest, I was disappointed.
It was painfully rushed and choppy. Bella's wedding dress was FUG. Making out scene at the wedding was awkward. Emmett had a weird Justin Timberlake-ish jewfro. A lot of the other characters were having hair problems too. Weird wolf-talking scenes. The CGI baby kinda creeped me out.
I did enjoy the speeches during the reception. Loved Seth- he was too darn cute. They did a really good job making Bella look painfully skinny.
Probably my least favorite out of them all.

C'mon now. This is just a silly question. Read the book!!
The movie was just plain bad. Bella was perhaps the most unhappy bride I have ever seen. I could tell, when she was coming down the aisle, that she was supposed to start looking happy when she saw Edward- but she still just looked sad. The soundtrack was very bad- didn't fit the scenes very well. The wolf scene was lame.
I see the movies because they are so cheesy, but I'm starting to realize how incredibly messed up relationships and sexuality are in this universe. "It's ok that he bruised me everywhere, I love him!" And since Jacob imprinted on this baby (creepy baby eyes, btw), that means it is destined to grow up and only be with him- it has no choice? How disturbing with pedophile undertones....
After watching these movies, I still have no idea why Bella and Edward "love" each other. They never look that happy together- at least they showed Bella having fun with Jake etc.
Curious.. have you read through all the books?
Renesmee will indeed have a choice, just because Jacob imprints doesn't mean she has to be with him. He will act like a sibling in her younger years, a best friend as she gets older, and then if she chooses later in life then of course they'd be together. It isn't meant to portray Jacob as a pedophile.
I wouldn't understand why someone who's read the books and is appalled my the "imprinting" would even bother to see the movie... jussaying
Just to add on to this and because you haven't read the books...
The complaints you have about the movie(s)--these are really just skimmed over for the sake of time.
1) Cheese factor
2) Bella and Edward have an incredibly screwed up relationship when you get right down to it (quite frankly this could be an entirely new post)
3) Weird Jacob/Renesmee relationship (previously discussed)
In the books these issues are heightened 10 times. I don't want to discourage you from reading the books but it's not like they deviated from them that much.
To put it another way: The material you have to create the movie--creates the final product you know?
