  And a lot of people thought I was put of my mind saying I would totally do it. The placenta has major nutrients and you don't have to consume ALL or every placenta . Some people don't even finish their pills or freeze them for YEARS until the next bebe so tHey dont have to do it again. My question would be if the hospital would give me back my placenta. They can't keep it, can't they?

  I think it varies from state to state. It can be considered a biohazard I think. I was intrigued by the concept at first in my early pregnancy. But I just couldn't get past the idea of consuming my own organ, no matter what form it would be in. As I got closer to the end of my pregnancy my stomach got so weak, I couldn't even look at a raw steak, let alone contemplate this concept anymore.

  I view it this way... If I can swallow sperm, I can swallow a pill that has dried out placenta. If I can suck on a cut that's bleeding, I can eat placenta. You just have to think about it logically.

  Yeah, I've never been able to do either of those things either. I like to think of myself as a pretty strong and un-squeamish person... but bodily fluids in/near mouths are my weak spot. I just can't do it...and I dread, absolutely DREAD the day my LO(s) start losing teeth and I have to deal with bloody mouths.

  I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.
