Maybe this is too personal, but I'm curious about what all of your weddings were like.
(This is probably what goes on at The Knot, but I never participated in the message boards there, so I'm curious.) Post a photo of your dress, or the reception, or whatever you liked about your day.
Here are a few of mine:
This was when H and I first saw each other on the day. Aww.
This is the reception venue (aka, my parents' backyard).
Aaand, this is the reception by night, which I was pretty thrilled with. I swear I'd string up Chinese lanterns all over our house if I could get away with it.

Re: PIP! Wedding Photos
I loved the detail and color on my dress. I fell in love with it online, and luckily it fit just as well as I hoped when I actually tried it on.
We had our reception at the Sam Noble Museum. I *may* have pretended to be a dinosaur.
We had a very traditional church wedding - we aren't churchy but it was extremely important to my grandparents (who I love and cherish) so we did what made them happy. The trade off was we had a dance and open bar reception.
I love this picture - total coincidence that the interior of our church is pink - I had several ask me if I had paid to have it painted that way. Good Lord NO.
My favorite picture - I love how I am all WEEEEEEEEE and DH is like "ohhh crap, what have I done?" Plus, I was obsessed with our pew flowers so this is a good shot of those.
Saying our vows -
**I would like to point out that we didn't receive electronic copies of our pictures, so these have been swiped from our album which is probably illegal. But just so we all know that these were taken by a professional photographer who I really, really loved.**
We had a pretty simple church wedding.
I love this picture. I love how H and the pastor are joking around and how the groomsmen in the background are being silly.
I also love this picture. I love how you can see the flowers in the air and you can see people looking up at the flowers.

I've pretty much gone back to lurking around here, but I just love looking at wedding pictures! I had to post...
And I love this one of my dad and I.
Mine will be picture heavy because... Hi, I'm a photographer and obsessed with photos.
Love this one because my makeup artist is a rockstar friend of mine from high school. The photog is also a friend of mine from high school. lol
The day we shot my bridals it was super windy so we had to do an impromptu shoot inside the Crown Plaza in DT Tulsa.
This is the one I used for the bridal portrait at the reception.
This is my favorite shot of me and my mother- she looked like a stone cold fox that day.
The Kiss.
Entering the reception... can you tell I like B&W? lol
This is our reception. LORD, I wish we would have had Pinterest back then.
Ok, last one. (Although I could show you ALL of them. haha) My dad and I did a traditional country waltz to "You Look So Good In Love." The man loves to dance.
There are about a million little details/decor that I would change from my wedding day (most notably that we don't really have any portraits of DH and I together) - maybe for the 10 year vow renewal- but it was SUCH a fun day. Loved it.
I don't have any pictures to add, because well... I don't really have any. My photographer bailed a week before (I'm still extremely bitter over that, and it's been nearly 5 years). Really, the only pictures I have are snapshots family members took.
Other than the fact that the wedding actually happened and the end result was actually getting married, my entire wedding sucked. Ice storm. None of my bridesmaids were able to make it. My photographer bailed. And, we cancelled the reception (at a different place). In fact, we essentially cancelled the whole wedding - our immediate family showed up and my new father-in-law actually skipped the wedding so he could drive to town in the treacherous conditions to get Simple-Freaking-Simon's pizza for our "reception".
Sucked.
TJ,This breaks my heart!! I feel so bad for you! Have you seen that new show on WE Tv called Do over wedding or something like that? You totally need to apply for that show!!
Sunny - I bet your reception was a blast!
Wendy - Thank you! I never considered getting married at my parents' house, until H suggested it. We wanted something a little more fun/laid back, so it worked out really well.
Puppy - I'd seen some of your pics via FB and never noticed the pink church. How fitting! I love your dress. Sometimes I wish I'd gotten a dress with a fuller silhouette.
Kaylee - LOVE the bouquet toss pic! You looked amazing.
Jabs - The red in your dress adds such drama. I'm digging the contrast.
JLimberg - I love that you and your dad danced to "You Look So Good In Love." Love me some Strait!
TJ - Wow, what a story. It sucks that you don't have any photos, and I hate that all of that happened on your big day.
SunnyDaze, I have a similar photo from our reception at Sam Noble... except a buffalo. Posting below.
I loved our wedding. Looking back on photos, my favorite "elements" were easily my cake and my table numbers--each number had a different dinosaur on it. Awesome.
my bookshelf!
Bloggy
I didn't know about this at all - when did you get married? December 2006? I am so sorry but...it is a good story. And so sweet of your FIL to get you pizza...but it does sound like maybe you need to have a redo..how about a Seven Year Itch party?
Oh TJ, that sucks so much. Who was your photog? I'm guessing you had to pay for everything anyhow? Ugh, there should be insurance for that type of stuff. (there probably is)
Everyone else, keep em coming. I love these!
I love these pics. Does anyone else think that Puppy and Kaylee look like they could be related?
So, um, how do I post pictures?
You so need to do a vow renewal ceremony.
I've griped several times on this board about my sh!tastic wedding "photographer", so I will not be sharing any photos.
Now, off to cut and paste my face into Jlimberg's photos...
I am loving all of the pictures! Very pretty! These are the only ones that I could find.
DH and I
My mom and I
My parents
My sister and I
There's probably a better way to post pics, but I upload to www.tinypic.com, copy the "direct link for layouts," then click the little "Insert/edit image" link here in the reply window and paste the link from tinypic in the "Image URL" box. Oh, and when tinypic asks which size, I usually pick "website/email," but "message board" works too. The rest tend to be too small/too big. HTH!
I do this as well, but I just copy the [ img ] code and paste directly into the text box.
I've wanted to do one of these for the longest time... PLEASE, with cherries on top, let me take "do-over" wedding pictures for you! It's like a day-after session, you can wear a wedding gown/tux situation, or just something fancy, and we'll go traipsing around taking pictures... Open field, downtown, something more rural... Whatever. Totally free. This just breaks my heart-- I hate hearing about people with horrible wedding photo stories. I make it my mission to do at least one of these kinds of sessions a year... And your 5 year anniversary is a perfect time to do it.
PWWWEEEESE?!
Seriously, though, how much do you charge for this? We just celebrate our fifth anniversary and I would love to have more pics of DH and I.....we were so rushed...is that dumb? To have more pics taken in my wedding dress five years after the fact?
I have more, but it's only letting me get them off facebook. My facebook album has mainly just a few pics of DH and me.
Are you kidding??!! You are such a sweetheart, I can't believe you'd offer to do this for me. Let me discuss with H. I'm also concerned like puppy that it would be strange to have pics taken of me in wedding attire 5 years after. But, I would just love some decent pictures of me wearing my dress.
By the way, all of you ladies looked fantastic on your wedding days!
For reals.
I honestly don't think it would be weird- it obviously wouldn't be as formal as traditional wedding portraits, the session would more closely resemble an engagement session. I've seen these types of sessions done where the woman wears her actual wedding dress and some where she is just wearing a white cocktail dress of sorts. Order a boutonniere for him (or- thank you Pinterest- make one), get/make a bouquet and let's do it.
Really though, just let me know.
I'm chiming in as well - you girls are all so incredibly gorgeous. Seriously, it's kind of ridiculous.
Ginger, I swear. I am nominating you for Most Gorgeous Hair. And JLimberg, I so envy your tiny waist. And puppy and kayleeb, you do kind of look like each other, now 5th mentioned it! It's a fine compliment for both of you, if you ask me.
I have fifty million wedding pics but here are just a couple:
