Me too! They showed him in the suit a couple of episodes ago, but I was like NO WAY.
DH and I both thought it was Tate originally and then I backed down and switched to Constance's husband. Now he's gloating.
It does make sense for it to be Tate. He never had sex with a girl before. He was already wearing the suit in a previous episode. Rubber man was there right before Violet ran off with Tate on Halloween.

I still wonder what the interview with Ryan Murphy meant by we will know exactly what the baby is.

Dude. Dude. It was Tate? I'm not gonna lie, my mind was blown.
Violet has to be dead. When her dad mentioned that she hadn't been to school in two weeks, that confirmed it for me.
I feel so, so bad for Viv, but I'm glad she's out of the house. For now, at least.
I have to say that I'm still sort of confused about the Tate/Rubber man deal. Is it because he, like Moira said, has such a desire to please the women of the house? That's why he's trying so hard to give the original owner a baby?
I did not expect it to be Tate! I love that they didn't drag it out for 5 seasons and make us wait for rubber man - they didn't even wait until the last few seconds of the episode!
I definitely think Violet is dead. I'm thinking it was the overdose.
I cannot believe it's Tate. And I really don't think I like that decision.
Since they revealed it so early in the show I kept saying to DH, "I don't think it's really Tate. I think they're trying to trick us!" Wishful thinking, I guess.
I don't know if Violet is dead or not. I'm leaning towards yes, but really, with this show, who knows?

This is what confused me...every time Viv left the house she had problems w/the pregnancy; i.e. the bleeding on the Murder House Tour.
I believe there was mention made by more than one character that she shouldn't leave the house since it's better for the 'baby'. Even Viv herself noticed that in an episode. I'm wondering why now they would want her out of the house if that results in losing 'it'.
At first I thought Violet was dead too, but wouldn't her parents have discovered her body at some point? If she OD'd, she'd be in the bathtub. If she slit her throat, there'd be blood every where. Right?
I was semi-surprised Tate was Rubber Man, but in retrospect, who else could it have been? Ryan Murphy said it was obvious, so it wouldn't have been a new character, and like PP said, Ben and the gay couple were already ruled out.
This. Exactly what I was thinking. There would have to be a body somewhere, unless Tate moved it.
Could that scene have been a flash black? It would make sense that Tate would want to 'make the women of the house happy' if his own Mother always acted disappointed in him. Constance isn't exactly in the running for Mother of the Year.
Also, I'm thinking some ghost or ghosts would have taken care of Violet's body. They seem to be experts at it now.
I can't decide if the real estate agent is in on things or just oblivious. But I enjoy her character.

Violet is certainly dead. I am not convince that Larry or the realtor are dead, though.
Accckkkkk!! I just watched the episode last night.
I feel like slapping myself in the forehead after reading this, because OMG, it does seem like Violet is dead. After she OD'd we saw Tate dragging her body away so that could explain that and why they could have sex now. Although it doesn't quite explain how she could have gotten to the car with her mom that's off the property, because if she is a ghost she can't leave, right? And the two people who tried to kill them who were in the back as ghosts are off property ghosts like the kids from the school shooting.
Larry can't be dead though, he keeps meeting Ben off site, and nothing has happened to indicate he's been killed. Same deal with the realtor, she goes off property too and nothing has happened that would have killed her.
Yeah, Violet is so dead. The missing school thing convinced me and everything else lines up.
Did anyone else notice when Viv was faking pregnancy pain and the realtor got up to get her water and said, "Just don't have the baby now; that's the last thing you want" or something like that? Sounded like a loaded comment to me.
I wonder if Tate being so violent will be a plotline at all? Between the school shootings and the beatings of the gay couple, dude's got some anger.
I am kind of surprised at the shock of Tate being the rubber man.
All I know is that at this point I clearly need to pay closer attention!
Also, there is no way the RE wouldn't have noticed that Vivian stole her gun. It has to weigh more than my Kindle, and I can notice when it's "heft" is missing from my purse. You'd definitely notice the weight of a gun gone from your bag.
