Re: Finally Friday
Brianna- I can't believe your FB post! That woman is crazy!!
I have only taken two days of the metformin (which will hopefully help me ovulate!) and I woke up at two in the morning with terrible cramp. It hurt so bad :-(. I know this medicine is known for causing stomach issues, but I didn't expect that :-(

I'm going grocery shopping here in a few minutes, and buying some new windshield wiper blades since we only have one on there LOL. Then I'm gonna sit at home and drink hot chocolate(or Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice) all day.
and I'm in shorts. Yep. I've lost it.
Are you on the regular met or the extended relief? Metformin is the devil and I am so sorry you are having to take it. Some people are fine taking it, others are not, sadly. I was on it for 3 years so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I think it's just the regular. I have to take it once a day for a week and then increase to twice a day. I've only taken it for two days so far. :-(. Does it get any better? :-/

Regarding your morning Bri, all I have to say is b!tches be crazy.
Waiting to meet with my advisor. Let's hope it's not a cluster like it usually is.
PWAT tomorrow. Party! Woo Hoo!
The last part of this week went MUCH faster than I expected. I'm so glad it's the weekend and this week is almost over. My stomach hurts really badly today and I don't know why. Probably just stress.
The new wood (actually, we ended up going with laminate) were installed yesterday, and are being finished up now.
The kitchen appliances are getting delivered today, so I'll be sitting in the empty house for two hours waiting on them today. Thank goodness for my IPhone and Nook ... they will keep me from going crazy.
Woo-hoo!! (I wanted to add a bunch of picture smileys, but apparently Apple doesn't like them.)
GoooooooOOOOO Angie!!
For me, it did not get better but everyone is different. I switched to the extended release (ha, I just noticed I did put 'relief' in my earlier post- it's early! oops) about 2 years in and while it was not as bad as the regular, I was still pretty miserable. I just could never find a balance no matter what I tried or if I did find something that worked, it didn't last long.
From my experience and reading about it online, my suggestion is to carry snacks around with you at all times [I would have to eat something at the drop of a hat] and if your body has not gotten used to it after week 1, don't be afraid to keep taking 1 tablet a day for another week or 2. Doctors were really bad about pushing me yet not listening to me. Just listen to your body. I was not familiar with ginger capsules when I was on metformin but if I had to be put back on, I would definitely be taking those daily to help with the nausea and possibly look at taking a probiotic.
Also try taking your medicine on a full stomach rather than an empty one and make sure you are eating- I know, that is the last thing you want to do. My doctor told me that if I ate the wrong things it would make me sick so I needed to stick to a healthy diet. Well heck, everything made me sick but staying away from sugar, carbs and grease are supposed to help the situation.
Yeah, needless to say... it was interesting. I was so scared that she was going to swing at me! Not because I was worried about her hurting me, but just because I was wasn't sure how to react! I finally told her to get away from me, keep her hands off and away from me, and step away from my car before I called the police.
If I wouldn't have been involved first hand, I wouldn't believe my own story.

I don't blame you
I hope you have a better experience that I did. If I have to go back on to TTC, I don't know if we would go forward.
So glad it's Friday. Although my week started off crappy, it got better toward the end. Looking forward to the party tomorrow!
Brianna, that is BSC for sure.

Angie - awesome!!
PWAT girls - would anyone be terribly upset if I just brought a vegetable tray instead? I'm not sure I will have time to make the pepperoni rolls.
Of course not. Bring what you can.
Brianna - what a crazy gas station experience!

I'm excited for the party tomorrow! I have to head out soon to get my car inspected and oil changed.

I beg to differ. My heart is breaking!! Those things are AH-mazing.
I guess I can forgive you. Maybe. ;-)
Haha, thanks. If I have enough time, I will make them. If not, I'll make them for the next book club G2G.
