T & Ps requested please... ectopic pregnancy

Any thoughts or prayers you can send this way would be much appreciated. My DH and I learned that I was pregnant about 4 weeks ago.  We were super excited to have a little one on the way.  Unfortunately, over the Thanksgiving holiday I started to have some complications.  I really thought I was miscarrying at first.

After initial blood draws, it appeared that I did not have a viable pregnancy.  My gut instinct told me I had an ectopic pregnancy which terrified me.  Well, after serial blood draws, a trip to the ER on Monday to rule out ectopic (which u/s was negative), and another trip to Woman's ER after horrible cramping earlier today, my fears were confirmed - ectopic pregnancy.

I'm so glad it was caught early (6 weeks) and my tube has not ruptured.  They gave me the option of surgery or a methotrexate shot and I chose the shot.  If you can please send thoughts and prayers this way that the shot will work, that I won't experience awful side effects, and that my tube doesn't rupture before the medicine has a chance to work I would greatly appreciate it.  My doctor has ordered me off work for two weeks and I need to be near a family member or friend pretty much at all times in case my tube ruptures (which would lead to major internal bleeding that will require emergency surgery).   I'm still super nervous, but at least now I know what I'm dealing with.

Sorry so long.  Thanks in advance for the T & Ps.
