Ibarr, it's ok. I do have interesting stories, btu I have way more from my last job (kids in residential treatment). I'm going back (hopefully) for my masters in social work. Apparently, to be a social worker, you have to be able to write 17,000 essays for applications.

That is a lot of essays! lol Some of the students I work with just had a few grad essays due. Apparently their personal statement couldn't contain anything about their research work. Their research work had to be seperate, yet a lot of their research has influenced where they have been and where they are today.

When are your apps due? Soon or do you have some time?

Yeah, in addition to 3-5 question personal statements, I also have to write a 1500 word position paper on a current social work trend or issue, write a 2-3 page paper on an area of social work I believe more resources should be focused on (and I'm struggling to keep it short enough! I think I found my research project subject ), and write a 3-5 page essay presenting both sides of a controversial current event. Sweet. I have until the beginningish of January. So...lots of time, except not really.

holycrap hike. How sad. One of my best friends was killed at 19 by a drunk driver... it was a country vet rushing to help birth a horse, who had been drinking before he was called. Glad that horse's life was worth more than my friends.

Capacity is 15, but we have 14 right now. We keep meds in the office and we observe them taking them and document, but it's technically self admistered. We don't make them take them, remind them to take them, or set them up for them.

Onhh gotcha. I'm fascinated with any job that works with people who have stories. I absolutely love teaching the students who need stable adults and students with autism or learning disabilities.

Not that it compres to the people you work with but I definitely have learned so much from it.

J, Scott is dealing with all of that stuff right now. He is applying to six schools and he's been working on all his personal statements and everything for MONTHS. He just got word back from a professor he's been talking to that the stuff he's sent her looks good and he only needs to edit it a few more times until it's ready.

steph - that is awful! I'm so sorry Back in HS we had a family of a fellow classmate that died from a drunk driver (driver of the car) come and talk to everyone around prom season. It was so incredibly sad. Of course the drunk driver survived.... as always.

J&K - I agree, that's some time but not a lot! I would have trouble staying focused during the holidays if I had a deadline like that. I'm pushing any further education for myself until after the wedding. Then I'm sure I will be scrambling like hell to get everything done.

That dude sounds rad. Also, you totally just reminded me of our weirdo client and I don't think I've ever told about him on TK.

He has a crazy huge gun/weapon collection, and he likes to bring his most recent stuff to our office (but he keeps it in the car and asks permission to show it to us in the parking lot). AND the best part? He has " YOU" *** ETCHED into his two front teeth. So when he smiles at you his smile is saying " you."

I talked my H into watching a Christmas movie. It's The Grinch movie and he's identifying with the practicality of the Grinch. *sigh* But at least he's watching a holiday movie. Right?

We're apparently doing fourthmeal tonight so there is a thin crust, 3 meat pizza in the oven, and I'm thinking about making up a big pot of hot cocoa.

I would also say cash in the tickets and don't buy any more! FI and I played all along the NY State Thruway and throughout Western NY during a recent visit. We had up to 50 bucks (not a lot) but by the time we were on our way back we lost all of our money in Albany. Dangit!

I'm on my first day of my lowest calories for my first week of calorie cycling, and it's been way easier than I thought it would be. I also had a killer run today. I'll probably lose like 4 pounds between today and tomorrow, and then gain it all back this weekend. Haha!

Any chance you can help me figure it out? The weight is coming off still but slowly. I'm fat enough that I definitely think it's possible to lose more than I am now. I think I need a total routine change-up again.

I won't start until finals are over and I'm able to set up a legit exercise routine again.
