Welcome Ella Kay!

I'll make it short.

Due date 11/20.  8 days overdue (41 wks, 1 day), came in for induction on 11/28

11:00am - arrived at hospital
11:45am - started Pitocin, started having contrax 3 min apart almost immediately
12:45pm - checked by doctor - was 5 cm
1:00pm - water broke (on its own) - contractions were 100 fold in pain level!
1:15pm - much needed epidural administered (kuddos to those who deliver w/o drugs!)
2:45pm - fully dilated - waiting for baby to descend a little on her own and a few test pushes
3:00pm - pushing with doc
3:11pm -  baby born!

OB told me I was her fastest baby that month - and she had delivered 30 in November!  lol.  I was only in labor for about 7 hours with DS, so it didn't surprise me that I went so fast with DD.  Also, since she was so fast, I was able to feel most of the delivery (no pain - just pressure) since the epidural had only been in for a few hours.  I liked that a lot better than being very "dead legged" with DS's delivery.  I felt like the recovery was much nicer this time around.
