Morning. Kind of a lazy morning here. H is going to work in a bit and I'm going to pretend to work but really will just watch TV.
The Christmas work party last night was super boring. I sat with some people on my team but was pretty much ignored despite attempts to join the conversation, which reaffirmed that I'm not clique-ish or loud enough to join in on their high-decible conversations. H and I left after the raffle (didn't win anything). The food was really good though, so at least we had a great meal.
Also, our table had a centerpiece made of red and green Sprees. You have no idea how badly I wanted to peel off a couple and eat them, and sat there wondering if I could scrape off the glue.

They gave away some awesome gifts I would have loved - 55' TVs, new Mac laptops, PS3 - but the one I wouldn't have wanted was the 6-day cruise. H and I said we would have sold it, since we wouldn't be able to cover the taxes, finding someone to care for Whisky, and the money he'd lose from missing work.
Chels, we don't really know much right now other than that it's some kind of breathing obstruction and low oxygen levels in the blood. But they don't know what's causing it. She sees a specialist tomorrow at 9. For now, all she can do is sit/lay on the couch. Any kind of exertion about makes her pass out because she can 't breathe.

It's still snowing here. We cleared off both cars and the driveway yesterday afternoon (the snow was up to my knees), and already there is another 3-4 inches today. But we have church to get to and errands to run, so I guess we'll brave the roads in a few minutes here.

Me too, a little bit. But Matt gets paid to play the piano at church and I'm co-leading the children's program this month, so we kinda have to go if at all possible. And I need to see what the roads are like before tomorrow so I know if my car will even be able to get me to work.

KD, I'm so glad I saw you say that uploading a picture here sucks. I thought it was just me that couldn't figure out how to AW my SS. So, the awesome photos are on SB still. Why won't our free site work like it's supposed to?
Had a scare this morning. At 5am, I woke up and H wasn't beside me. I went out and he was in the living room taking his blood pressure. He said he'd felt funny (cold and sweaty hot at the same time) and figured he'd better take his blood pressure. It was a little elevated, but not by a lot. Nothing like thinking your H is having a heart attack to start off the day. We went back to bed and got up about 30 minutes ago. Now he said he feels fine.
Tonight we have tickets to the Colorado Avalanche vs. the Detroit Red Wings. It's sure to be a fun game. It's a big rivalry and always interesting. Go AVS!

Morning All.
My H is at the gym, and I'm enjoying a few relaxing moments before I get started on my mega-list of things to do this week. I had quite a productive day yesterday, but I still have another oh... 25 things to accomplish mostly today to be ready for "Christmas" this weekend.
Yesterday, we did our major grocery shopping trip for the month. Should only have to pick up produce now until we return from vacation- awesome! Stores weren't very busy yesterday, we got 5 inches of fresh snow yesterday, so it was a good day to get that done.
I also started some of my Christmas baking. I made a second batch of Sugar cookies (ate the 1st ones when my B &SIL were here last month for "Christmas"), and a batch of chocolate peanut butter marshmallow squares. Still need to make Christmas tree peppermint brownies today for Saturday, and decide if I time or not to make Lefse this year.
