Dear Alarm,
I am not sure why in the world you didn't go off but I woke up an hour late when Matts alarm started buzzing at 6:10. I have to leave by 6:25 and being late is just not an option. My day is off to a very rocky start and I am not happy with you.
-Frazzled me
Re: OL Tuesday
BL,
I get the same way when I am late. Just take a breathe and relax, it's ok now.
- Punctual employee
Bri,
Congrats! How very exciting!

Dear knee,
While you are hurting today I'm glad we don't have to do surgery and I actually got to work out yesterday!

Dear Cold Weather,
Go away, I don't like you, and you're stoopid.
Signed,
One of the few people who thinks snow sucks (even at Christmas)!
Dear left eye or most likely contact in left eye - Stop hurting. I can't change you out until I get home and that's not for another 6ish hours. The sandpapery feeling has got to stop. - Leslie
Dear semester - I am pretty ready for you to be over and done with. For real, yo. - Leslie
Dear finals - I only have to take one of you. Normally this would be cause for party, party, party! Unfortunately, the classes that do not have a final test have a giganto final paper due. Four huge papers due on the same day...oh History, how I loathe you sometimes. - Nose to the grindstone this weekend Leslie
Dear Nesties,
All of your good juju worked.... the in law visit has been postponed, and may not happen at all. I also voiced some of my specific BIL concerns to J, and he was sympathetic and didn't act like I was attacking his family. In fact, he said if he misbehaves while he's here, he'll hand cuff him, hog tie him, and stick him in the closet. (It was a joke, but still, made me feel better.)
Dear car,
Please, please, please just be the alternator like J thinks. I do not like riding the train on cold mornings, and I do not want to spend a lot of money on you now, when I want to get rid of you in a couple of months. You've been good to me this long, just a little longer please!
Dear sleep,
I missed you this morning - I felt like I was getting up sooo dang early. Hopefully my car is fixed today, and we can visit more tomorrow morning!
BL - i know exactly how you feel. This happened to me on Friday. I was not very happy about it. Makes for such a long day....
-punctual nestie
Brianna! Sneaky sneaky!
we're so happy for you girly!
-excited me!
DH,
you made it really hard to get out of bed this morning. It's hard enough having to wake up early by 3 hours once every three weeks, but you could help by not keeping the TV on until 3am and then turning off my first alarm.
-frazzled me
Hey...new social security card...
where the frack are you?!
-Annoyed student trying to get stuff in line for next semester
Y'all I just burst into the big ugly cry. The girl on GP who got pregnant after trying so long only to find out her baby had a heart defect and couldn't live at 20 weeks got pregnant her first cycle trying after her loss.
I read it and literally burst into tears I am so happy for her. You gotta believe in miracles with that one.
Deepthi - Love the new siggy pic
Leslie - I'm having that same contact issue. What's more frustrating is that I just put new contacts in a couple of days ago. Also, good luck on your papers and final. Sometimes I wish I was still in school.
That sucks. I kind of thinking it might be something with my eye. I wear dailies and had the same problem on Sunday, put in a new contact and was fine. Put in new ones yesterday and was fine all day. This morning instantly had the issue when I put it in. Unless it is a bad box of contacts or something I am thinking it must be my eye.
Dear Nesties,
Did anyone here about Giuliana Rancic, I know its silly but I may have teared up a bit this morning when I heard. I really like her and feel so sad that she is having to go through all of this.
I heard about this yesterday and it seems she has one issue after another
Dear Hypothetical Opportunity - Please make a freakin' decision. I am 100% okay no matter what you decide, but I really can't stand you leaving my hanging any longer. It's been a month, maybe longer. - Impatient Me
Leslie - try taking your contact out (when you can or when you get home) and rinsing just your eye with contact solution. That might help.
BL - I like Guiliana, too and the news yesterday made me sad, as well.
Thanks Lacy
Contact girls,
Leslie - try Flushing your eye out with plain water or rinsing your contact in water. It may feel a little dry at first but it'll help. If you can get eye drops those would work better.
Lacy - try getting an overnight eye cleaner that requires you do put your contacts in for 5 hours or more. Contacts will get calcium deposits and those cleansers will really help if you use it about once a week or so.

I love it. What a blessing.
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v123/magicwombat/?action=view
#1 - This makes me really sad. I love them both so much.
#2 - If I am completely honest, this scares the sh!t out of me. Studies show a correlation between IVF meds and breast cancer. This has always been my biggest fear about IVF and to see this happen to GR it makes me a little sick.
ETA - Deepthi and Lacey - I forgot I had some re-wetting drops in my purse. I used those and rubbed the contact some and it seems to have cleaned off whatever was there. Thanks!
Days like these make me wish my vision wasn't so bad so I could get Lasik!
Dear finger and nail-
You don't bend that way. Ouch!
Dear vending machine-
Where the heck did you disappear to? It's okay, I shouldn't be visiting you in the first place but I'm hungry. My GM's have sucked the last 2 mornings.
Dear someone wanting a holiday party-
While it's nice to see you so enthusiastic about wanting to have a social gathering, it's not so nice that there's a rumor going around that you want it to be next Wednesday night. That's a week away, you haven't confirmed anything, you don't have a place to have it at yet and you haven't made anything official. Some people already have plans. Plan ahead, dude.
Dear Tuesday and the rest of this week-
Please do not drag along. Just go as fast as you can! Also, I'd really prefer it not to rain on Saturday but if you must, I will survive.
Nesties,
Our neighbors car got broken into last night and all they took out of it was the garage door opener. Scary! Another neighbor remembers a van being parked close by this weekend and none of has had any maintainence or deliveries this weekend. We are a pretty tight little group and it's a very quite neighborhood so this is scary.
-girl who is going to triple check all doors and windows tonight-
Sister,
So glad you found a wedding venue. Now you can sit back and enjoy the holidays and then we will start planning next month.

Bio
dear tiffany-
please elaborate?
-curious me
She is going with the Milestone up in Krum. Very pretty. The bridal suite as a huge whirlpool tub and a bed. The guys room as some arcade game and a pool table. It's an all inclusive kinda place. The only thing I didn't like were the alcohol rules but that is a county thing apparently.
The Biggest Loser tonight is the marathon episode. I am excited to see who ends up in the finale but at the same time I just don't know about running a marathon with no formal running training. It seems like it is just an injury waiting to happen.
I also am annoyed that we are going to have to watch Bonnie walk and complain during the whole damn thing.
I started off really liking Bonnie, but then she started to annoy me. I know she could've pushed way harder and done more than what she was doing.
I don't know that I could ever run a marathon! I'm excited to see who will win. I really have no idea who it will be.

Dear Leslie, I had half a contact lense stuck in my eye all day yesterday. It tore in my eye and I only got half of it out until the end of the day. So annoying!
Also, I heard about GR but was wondering--did anything happen with their fertility treatment? Had she actually started the therapy? And yes, that is very scary and honestly, would certainly give me pause about the whole thing.
Dear Brianna, so excited for you!
Dear Tiffany, thinking hypothetical good thoughts!
Dear Car, I miss you.
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
A friend of mine got married there in June... very beautiful!

Thanks Stephie!
Ashlee - It is in regard to a new career opportunity. When I first posted about it, I did so "hypothetically"...and then that label just kind of stuck.
They were going to go for another round of IVF and the doctor required her to have a mammogram before he would go any further with her. There was no point in doing IVF if she had breast cancer so he wanted to make sure everything was good to go.
Dear Biggest Loser Watchers,
I am sad I have fallen out of the habit of watching that show. I used to really love it. I sure do miss television. =(
Dear Nesties,
If you're interested, my wedding photos are up. I mentioned it on TK, but I know most of you don't go there anymore. www.hamptonmorrowphotography.com -> Enter Website -> Proofing -> Wedding -> Amanda and Andy. Password is clark.
Dear students,
This is my last full week with you. Let's make it a good one.
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v123/magicwombat/?action=view
This. She has had two failed IVFs previously. They went to a place called CCRM this time which it the place to go if you have failed IVFs and have money to spend on treatment. They have the best success rates in the world and it takes two-three months to even get in for a phone consult. They are VERY picky about who they will treat and they test extensively before treating because a failed IVF cycle for any reason lowers their success rates.
Although correlation does not imply causation and IVF meds and breast cancer could be completely unrelated but by chance, I still intend to research the heck out of it before I make any decision if it comes to that for us.
RE: Giuliana. Sister just cannot catch a break! What a difficult decision to make, but I think she's smart to do the double mastectomy vs. lumpectomy+radiation.
Tiffany, I hope you hear something soon! I'm still waiting too, and I jump out of my skin every time my boss comes in the room because I think he might tell me something. If it's good news, I hope I find out this week so I can celebrate this weekend. If it's bad news, I'd rather find out next week. I don't want to be sad on my birthday!
