i hate when people reveal too much on fb. i have a "friend" (not really a friend, just a college sorority sister) that is asking her friends for someone to go on a date with - being really specific about what kind of guy she wants to date (keep in mind she is divorced and just got out of a long term relationship). the comments on that post keep going and she specifies that her parents left her a sizable trust and that she's financially well off, while being a high school teacher. it really bugs the crap out of me.

I confess I am mad at you for not sharing this information earlier! Why have I never gotten into a focus group like that?! The last one I did was about feminine products. BLEH.

My bad. I'll put together the two places I've been to locally and send to you! The last one I did was last year and it was for "refrigerated pasta entrees". Yes

The cat started doing it (I think) on a blanket that DH's grandmother made for him and he got all upset about it. I confess that made me laugh hard but DH didn't think it was funny. Haha.

DH & I quit going to the diet doctor over their inability to file insurance correctly anymore. I'm not losing anymore anyway. I just can't eat that strict anymore and have been doing fine maintaining since I hit 100. I still want to lose more, but I need a new approach. I'm trying to talk DH into getting an elliptical. The problem is finding where to put it.

I confess that it drives me up the wall when people post vague statements on FB just to bait people into giving them attention. This is straight from my FB feed last week, a former friend who is recently divorced:

"Very blessed to have great friends in my life who call and check in, take me to my appointments, lend me good reading to get my head on straight, bring me coffee or food, let me host Thanksgiving from my bed or are just there when I need to talk. I love you all and I couldn't be more blessed than I am right now "

People proceed to comment, "are you okay? why were you in bed? what appointments? are you sick? did you have surgery? what is going on?"

To which she responds..."Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't meant to cause a ruckus on FB!" Yeah.freaking.right. That's exactly what you intended to do! Mission accomplished!

uuuggggh, i have a friend like this.

it's one thing when it's a rare occasion, and it's someone just trying to not put all their business on FB. but when it's alllllll the time...losers.

I confess I filed a claim at magistrate court today in Forsyth County to sue the property owner (corporation) next door for their obviously dead tree that fell on our house and caused a fair amount ($$) of damage. I have never sued anyone before, and I hope this is the last time I ever have to do it. People's court, here we come!

I confess that I have been thrown into a tailspin by some bad news. A couple that I knew from college just lost their 5 week old son unexpectedly (he was not sick in the hospital). While I am not close to them, the news has just rocked me to the core.

I look at my healthy happy baby boy and I am just crushed for them. I think about them all the time, and I do not know what to do with my grief.

I confess that I do not know what to do to shake the lingering sadness that has been hanging on me since I heard the news.

I confess I just barely got finished eating lunch and our office building is having a holiday social in the lobby so I have loaded up on a plate of bite sized desserts and a hot chocolate when I am not the least bit hungry for it.
