RE: Giuliana. Sister just cannot catch a break! What a difficult decision to make, but I think she's smart to do the double mastectomy vs. lumpectomy+radiation.

Tiffany, I hope you hear something soon! I'm still waiting too, and I jump out of my skin every time my boss comes in the room because I think he might tell me something. If it's good news, I hope I find out this week so I can celebrate this weekend. If it's bad news, I'd rather find out next week. I don't want to be sad on my birthday!

Fingers Crossed for you, what an awesome birthday present that would be!! :)

    Dear Nesties,
If you're interested, my wedding photos are up.  I mentioned it on TK, but I know most of you don't go there anymore.  www.hamptonmorrowphotography.com -> Enter Website -> Proofing -> Wedding -> Amanda and Andy.  Password is clark.

    Yay!

Dear Jason Garrett, my opinion of you is getting worse by the moment.

Weeeell.... I would just be finding out if I move on to the next round of interviews. But you're right, to have some hope would be really amazing!

  • Dear early Christmas gift,

I am over the moon!  I can't wait to get the details ironed out so I can share it with the Nesties.

-Angie- I feel ya.  One of my sorority sisters posted some fingerless, USB heated gloves that she wears at her desk.  I have added them to my Christmas list.

-Brianna- So very happy for you.

     Bri - Congratulations!

Dear -Husband's friend who commented on my advent and Bible verse fb post,

If you don't believe in God, I feel sorry for you and I will pray for your salvation, but there is no need to comment that the Bible was "written by a bunch of angry old men who want us to follow our rules. And that it is un-interesting and boring."

    Thanks,

Wow.  That guy sounds like a class act.

  • Amanda, I have stalked her blog a few times, I really like the pictures from your private last dance, I dont know why but those are almost always my faves.  I also like the one of you two walking away from the camera together after the ceremony.  Very beautiful and everything looked so pretty and fun.
  • The Nest -

    Yay, perfect for lunchtime perusing!

And Amanda I told you on TK, but everything looked just wonderful!

  • Dear Room,

Right now, you are perfect.  I have work to do so please maintain the status quo so that I don't have to abandon you later when it gets too bad.  Ooops.  I think I just jinxed myself.  $^&*&^&*^$#@#$!

    Dear Boot Camp Nesties,

Bill won't be there tonight--he's sick.  Hopefully, things will be all right by Thursday.

    Dear Hypothetical Event,

Please become a reality for Tiffany.

    Dear Real Interview,

Please turn into a job for Anna.

    Dear Students,

I am not kidding when I say that the progress reports that go home just before the break may ruin the break for some of you.  Not at all.

  • Amanda - beautiful wedding!  Love your dress.  :)
  • Dear Ashlee--where did you get married again?  That reception room is very pretty.  I love the elevator pics!  I had so wanted to do that!

Dear Lauren and Anna, did you know you guys are in the Dallas Brides magazine?

  • Ashlee - All the details came out gorgeous! Your pictures are awesome.

I saw that! I think it's the same picture they used last time. I'll have to actually pick up a copy of this one since I never got the last one!

  • Dear students-

Waiting until the last minute?  Not cool.  And you're snoring.

    Dear lunch lady-

Thank you for sneaking okra on my plate instead of the fries.  It was much appreciated.

  • I just overheard the committee chair saying they have two phone interviews this afternoon, which would explain why I haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully this is their last day of phone interviews!
  • Edit: Um, TN just went crazy and posted a message for me with just two words.

     Dear parent,
I'm fairly certain you responded to my "friendly reminder" email about this project last week, and now you are asking me when said project was assigned so you can know if your son (who was sick the day it was due) didn't finish because a) he was sick or b) he put it off.  Well, it was assigned in August.  I will give you a hint: he wasn't too sick.

Random question but had anyone here ever done acupuncture?

I really want to but my insurance covers zero and the general protocol for fertility is twice weekly appointments, making it pretty costly. Unfortunately I need that money to go toward other things.

Speaking of saving money and fertility - I called the RE (fertility doctor) and made an appointment for a consult in early January. I realized upon reading online about other women's procedures that some fertility doctors can do what I need done in office, shaving off about $1500 of the $2000 said procedure costs.

Regardless it's a $40 co-pay to see him, so even if we still have to save money to do procedures at least we will be with the RE.

I've been in training all day and haven't had much time to spend on here.

Leslie, wanted to say good luck with the RE.  Hopefully they will be able to diagnose and treat you easily and cost effectively.

Hmm I will need to see if my insurance covers it. I doubt it, but it would be nice. That's awesome about the RE!  I hope it works out!
