House R's push bullschitte bill to ban abortion based on race / sex of fetus
Re: House R's push bullschitte bill to ban abortion based on race / sex of fetus
You see, their ultimate plan is to ensure that more black babies are born to poor black folk. Empirical research has shown that black women with fewer offspring are more likely to have higher educational attainment thereby providing them with a high economic status. If you create an environment whereby you have more offspring, you lessen the chances for socio-economic improvement. Therefore, you increase more poverty-related and society ills, thereby sustaining black on black crime and creating a populous of Micky D's workers.
In other words, it's the Man's Plan to keep Black Folk Down.
HTH.
RIP mominatrix
Killed by SBP's hilarity on this day.
I am the 99%.
Until she clarifies, I'm inclined to think differently.
Plus, much to my MIL's dismay, the black people might MOVE INTO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!!!!! if they aren't kept poor.
No seriously, she told my SIL that she shouldn't look in neighborhoods with mixed races and that when SIL was putting an offer on a specific house in a wealthy suburb that the residents would want her over the black lady who was putting in an offer.
ETA: I was all, "well, sh*t. I'm never going to be able to sell my house because Tony Dungy owns a house in the neighborhood right next to us." Unfortunately, my sarcasm was lost on her.
... express confusion about whether the new law applies to their (possibly) Asian baby.

I think you're giving her too much credit. I've never seen Pamela be TIC. Or funny.
Sorry.
I'm pretty sure you mean "heil." Won't someone think of the White babies?
Word.
It's Fuggin PAMELA. I'll ride that assumption train to the depot.
I
What the hell is even happening in that picture?
OMG, I have tears in my eyes and I can barely breathe.

::clears throat::
How many women are trying to abort babies at all because of its race?
How many people fall into the very narrow story you weaved of a White woman married to a White man having an affair with a Black man and getting pregnant and omigod I don't know if I'm going to have a Black baby that would reveal my secret?!?!?!?!???!?!!!
Yeah, happens every day.
On One Life to Live.
In the real world... IS THIS WHAT WE WANT OUR LEGISLATORS SPENDING TIME, ENERGY, AND MONEY ON?!?!?!?!!?111?!?!?!?
I am the 99%.
Oh dear. To think DH and I have considered moving to the US for a warmer climate. I think I'm gonna stay here for now. Too much BSC.
My FIL, who is very Conservative by Canadian standards, would be dying at this. Who cares about the fuucked economy when you can talk abortion!?!
Sorry, I had to go actually do some work so I couldn't respond back right away.

I too thought she was being sarcastic, like the rest of us.
my read shelf:
this GIF is needed in the H&M thread.
I am the 99%.
no personal attacks here, either.
I am the 99%.
You obviously don't watch OLTL. Destiny (who is black ) is pregnant with Matthew's baby (Matthew is white). When Destiny found out she was pregnant Matthew was in a coma. She wanted to have an abortion because she is 17, but Matthew's whitey white mother basically guilted and blackmailed her into having the baby, even though Destiny's brother and mother/grandmother (she thought her grandmom was her mom, but that's a whole other story) supported her decision. and now matthew is out of his coma. to be continued...
Careful now...you might be called a martyr with a large cross to bear. (I also read her thread as tic, but I know many have a bad taste in their mouth for her so I can see why others might read it that way with their predisposition).
Come on. We need diversity. Like people who actually think like the Republican representatives who propose these bills, apparently.
40/112
As did I. I also felt prompted to insert a popcorn GIF since I knew the jumping-up-and-down-in-irate-angst would occur as a result.
guh? I saw a few other Rs/conservatives!
This seemed appropriate.
Please.
Pamela, if you want to be given the benefit of the doubt then perhaps you should attempt not to make so many sincere wackjob extremist right-wing comments ALL THE DAMN TIME, thereby making an assumption that this was another one extreamly plausible.
It wasn't a personal attack either, dude. IT WAS A FACT.
I
Now why do you have to go bringing me into this and calling me a hor?
As an R/Conservative I have to say this law is one of the stupidest things I've heard of.
A) There are way more important things to deal with, like the economy
C) It's the Economy Stupid!
