Re: Tuesday Randoms
Oh man. Dough making is so rewarding! We make pizza, pretzels, cinnamon rolls, and scones. I've never made bagels, but I want to start now!
Sure thing! I'll post it today or tomorrow.
So... is our dentist cute? I have to admit, I honestly can't really picture his face right now. He's always wearing a mask and I'm quite medicated.
And, yes, very weird when you run into him in public and don't recognize him.
I'm also not a bread-making person. I've tried it a couple of times and it was okay. But I don't like the time and baby-sitting that it requires. And I feel like there are too many variables (yeast, rising, temperature, moisture) that could result in my screwing it up.
I pay good money for delicious bread that other people make though!
Recipe rave:
Chicken stew with roasted balsamic vegetables
I'm eating leftovers for lunch today and it's so good. I did tweak the recipe though (sorry). Since we're not big meat eaters, I cut down on the chicken and only used two chicken breast halves. Then I increased the proportion of vegetables. In addition to the carrots and red-skinned potatoes, I also added in a sweet potato and part of a butternut squash since I had them laying around. I also increased the amount of liquid.
Van's english muffin bread with butter and strawberry jam brings me so much happiness. And Nantucket can do no wrong in my eyes.
I love bread.
Kasa, cute is not one of the top 5 words I'd use to describe him.
Breaking news: Husband is offical, and will be teaching a class starting next month!
Yay!!!!!!! This is so exciting!!
Woo hoo!
Congrats, Sweetpea Family!
Congrats to the H!
I know everyone is probably gone for the night, but I couldn't let this go:
The horrible spelling and grammar in my 1st post was due to my phone.
That was embarrassing!
And congrats to GRSP and husband!
