I'm not sure what the difference is between the Mia and Mia 2 that qvc has, but qvc had a really good deal on them over Thanksgiving and now they are $136 but you get so much more with the qvc deal, IMO. Might want to pass that along to Santa.
Nicole- I had a really hard time coming up with gifts this year too. In fact I just said screw the gifts but DH was not having it. I would love a kindle, clarisonic dodad, a couch (yeah, not happening), EA Sports Active 2 (I'm not suggesting this until DH gets his wii fit next week), Sunday Brunch either at the Wildwood Inn or Omni in FW. Most things I want are "experiences" rather than things so I had to pull most of the above out of a hat.
Well, on a lighter note... my Ultimate Oreo Cookie Brownie Bars won our competitive bakeoff challenge at my office today!
The prize is a company t-shirt, nothing big...but I am shocked. I didn't think they were that great.

I totally get what you're saying! All I can think of that I want is jewelry and a purse from the Kardashian Kollection. I cant think of anything else, since everything we need we put on our list that we gave his parents.(she makes all of his siblings and spouses do it every year) I'm thinking maybe the One Tree Hill DVD set, even though I've already watched all of them on Netflix, I'm just waiting for season 9, January 11th.
I will say though - my name is spelled incorrectly everyday....i probably hit double digits every day. I just started ignoring it....
Ever since i was like 4 my family always took us to a special needs home, or an orphanage. We would go the week of christmas and give out gifts. I didn't get to go last year and i was super disappointed. So i tried to go pull a name off an angel tree. It's sad - because i couldnt afford to give anything on any of the peoples lists they all had ridiculous lists. Oh well - maybe this year.
I was just reading this a few minutes ago!!!! So terrible.
I think I'm going to need the recipe.

Speaking of bootcamp, we have 2 Christmas parties to attend tonight so no boot camp for us. I was going to go this morning, had everything laid out, alarm set for 4:30. Pretty sure I just turned it off, although I don't remember. Guess that means I have to get up and go tomorrow instead of sleeping in on my day off.

When I go to lunch, I want to take a break from work not get stopped 3 different times to be asked about something work related. Just come find me in one hour!
I was fine all day yesterday then about 7pm, bam, I was SORE! Yeah, the classroom thing kind of sucked. It may be that way until Christmas on indoor days though.

I think my current layout is just too dark and I just don't have the time to change it right now. My current colors are realllly dark grey, black and white and the themes that I've tried out all seem to be so close in color that it's hard for me to tell a difference. I'm sure I'll get used to it but it just bugs me at the moment.
Well, I'm no help there. Most people don't like all the white space between messages. But in the settings (gray gear at the upper right) you can change it between Comfortable, Cozy, and Compact. To me, if it isn't Compact there is to much white space!

There's a certain task at work that I hate with a passion. It's not the job itself, it's who it comes from and if you find a mistake on their end, the wrath of said person is never fun. Seeing it in my box leads to a punch in the stomach. I don't do this task often and somewhat AW'ish is that it was given to me 2 days before it's due, not the typical 3 hours before.
You have a login and password in order to do this and I have issues every.single.time I use the stupid thing and the people who fix this should know me well by now. I have 3 login attempts, and I'm on my last one and I'm using the correct info (why do I know this? because I wrote it down. Bad, I know, but I always forget since I do it so rarely). I think I'll wait until tomorrow to get another 3 shots plus I can't do it in 15 minutes.
So my jeep got keyed last night (badly) - i got to spend an hour after work standing in the cold talking to the cops. Oh joy.
Only to find out today the security staff here at city place are too damn lazy to ACTUALLY look at the tapes...i know its on there. I was UNDER the god **** camera!
I swear to lucifer if i find out who did it...i'm going to beat them to a pulp.
