Re: Presents for the Guys
I'm torn on what to get my H. I know the one thing he really, really wants -- but it's really expensive. I was going to try to fit it into our house budget, but then we splurged and got the wood floors done right away instead of waiting ... so there went that idea.
This house stuff has sapped all my energy the last few weeks, and we haven't even moved in yet. I honestly don't know if I have the energy for Christmas shopping.

Look into the one's from Toms! I love their shoes, and they just started their eyeglasses program. i think if you buy a pair of sunglasses, they give "vision services" to someone in need. pretty nifty idea. we did toms for all the groomsmen in our wedding
(that's all husband wears).
For our xmas, we gave ourselves each an equal budget.. but, i'm a super deal shopper. so i got him some cute clothes/shoes/necklace from urban outfitters.. a pair of tickets to see a few of his favorite bands play acoustic sets in january.. and a new ) computer. (his old roommate builds computers, and he LOVED this one.. but he thought his roommate sold it to a friend. haha. secretly, that friend is me for $300 less than he orinally was going to sell it for, since his wife and him just had a kid, he's selling a lot of his computers for cheap.
