KNOW WHEN TO STOP! THIS IS A SIGN. THE UTERUS IS NOT MADE TO PRODUCE THAT MANY BABIES. REALLY IT IS NOT.
Re: HEY DUGGARS
HI PEACHY! I SAW THESE LAST WEEK AND THOUGHT OF YOU...
THAT LAST ONE IS HOW I ENVISION YOUR KEYBOARD.
http://pandce.proboards.com/index.cgi#general
Peachy, I really think this is not necessary. Miscarriage sucks. Who are you (or anyone else) to say "how many babies" anyone's uterus is capable of producing? Its just really in poor tastes. Most of the time your posts are just annoying and people can play along or whatever, but I think this is not funny or nice.
If you want a sign of something maybe this is a sign that you should take a step back and really think about what you are saying here. Its not up to any of us how many babies anyone has. Is 19 or 20 a lot? Sure, but this kind of stuff is just adding insult to injury. These people are going through a tough time in their lives and its really in poor taste to say those kind of things.
LISTEN BETTY, MASS PRODUCING THAT MANY BABIES IS FOOLISH AND YOU KNOW IT. THEY ARE DOING THIS FOR FAME AND MONEY! HECK MICHELLE ONLY TAKES CARE OF THEM TILL THEY'RE ONE AND THEN PASSES THE BURDEN OFF TO ONE OF THE OTHER KIDS. WHAT MOTHER DOES THAT? ONE THAT HAS TOO MANY TO TAKE CARE OFF.
i don't think god doles out "signs" in the form of miscarriages. and to insinuate that a miscarriage is a sign from god to stop procreating is hurtful on many levels.
as much as i loathe the duggars, i AM sorry for their loss. its a horrible feeling to stomach going through something like that no matter what your position in life is. you know, it is pretty obvious that they SHOULD stop having kids for so many other reasons. and i think for michele to risk her life to keep having kids (thus putting her at to not be able to be around for the kids she already has) is a terrible decision, a horrible parenting move, and totally irresponsible.
but i just can't get behind the notion that god willfully casts miscarriages like stones from heaven unto the people he thinks deserves them. i just can't get behind that. its nasty and cruel and god doesn't operate like that.
I personally have my hands full with one child. Would I do it myself? No. Would I consider it absolute insanity in my life situation to have that many kids? Absolutely.
However, its their life and if they want to live it like that then that is their business. Yes, they make it public by having the show, but I don't think that right after a miscarriage is the appropriate time to have a discussion about how many kids they are "allowed" to have by anyone's standards except for their own.
Whatever their reasons for having that many children are-- that is their business. Unless you own the uterus or the penis producing the kids or have to take care of them (which you don't) then telling someone else what to do with their body or life is messed up, know what I mean?
I think its kind of messed up to take pot-shots at M. Duggar's mothering skills. The kids seem happy and the family is provided for. If they want to do it via a TV show then that is their prerogative.
I know you are a troll so there is no point in reasoning with you. I just think that cheap shots like this post are jacked up. I know there are folks out there that believe this kind of thing and would openly say it. I just think that its bad Karma to be dishing out that kind of negative sentiment when they've just experienced a loss.
That being said, you are going to do what you are going to do Peachy. So we'll agree to disagree.
Any mother of 6 or more kids. It is actually quite a natural and normal thing to do.
Stop shouting.
Six? My mom had four. Guess who signed bus notes and did homework with them? Guess who got up at night with them? Guess who disciplined them?
Not my mom.
So the necessary of abortion as an option is an part of life but purposely conceiving when you may not be able to carry to term is damnable?
Go!
So 18 kids + preemie + miscarriage + continuing to not prevent pregnancy is a-okay by you if there's no tv show and sleek line of Duggar Family travel mugs?
lol
The Duggars do. They think her first miscarriage was a sign from God to stop using birth control. So by their own logic, it's not a far stretch to think this is a sign from Him to start up again.
It's not even fun to play devil's advocate knowing that.
I think what bugs me is this idea that "God will decide how many children I will have." So does that mean if I can't concieve, God is telling me I'mma be a sh*tty parent and to stick with my cat? WTF?
Ohhhh this I did not know. She probs thinks you can't get pregnant when you're breastfeeding too *snort*
her ignorance amuses me.
Give a break - I'm trapped under a hungry baby! Oh wait, there's the internet over there...... *wanders off
I find myself in a very I don't agree with what you do with your ut, but I'll defend your right to do it postion.
I tried to read an "article" that she wrote once. It made me cry dolphin blood.
Hey, I didn't say *I* was disagreeing with your premise!
Yes they probably do... and?
I would think that I am considerably more sane than someone who can't seem to grasp the concept of The Caps Lock button. Just sayin'.
I might be a nut job but at least I can get that bit down.
Trainwreck? Yeah ok.
Bless your heart.
