Re: B&M Monday
Jennifer - GL with Surgery. Prayers and hope your DH can find something new.
One of my CW is quiting today. She's putting in a day notice so that means she is leaving at the end of today. Our Manager got a little upset with her over it and now she's over reacting. While she's my friend I think it's silly for her to think that giving a day's notice isn't going to cause problems. I guess I just have no one else to talk to about this and need to get it out.

T&P for easy surgery and quick recovery.
I can't believe some people. 28 weeks does not equal enough time for your multiples to gestate. Get a clue.
Sending good thoughts and prayers for you surgery!
Leslie - Sending good vibes for your family.
I loved the one year we went to ICE and I hope to go again sometime.

Jennifer - I hope your surgery goes well - T&Ps.
Deepthi - Whoa.. one day notice? That's one way to burn bridges.
Brianna: A good 50%.
ETA: Oh and BL - I have the same issue with my hair. Only DH loves it when I wear it curly/wavy and I think I look like crap. Meh.
And I want to see Shrek ICE.
Umm maybe 40-50% which is sad because normally by this time of year everything is wrapped and done. I feel very bah humbug about it all this year and really dont care.
We're keeping it small this year, only my family of 5 and we all agreed on gift cards for each other. Not as fun as past years were we had surprises like the TV for my parents last year, but it'll be fun to shop afterwards.
For DH, I've got a couple of games and still need to pick up some graphic novels that he wanted and possibly a controller. I'll probably be finishing up next week.

T&Ps to everyone that needs them.
Congrats on the good news I see in the thread and I hope everyone had a good weekend.
Bri - We are about 50% done too. We wiped out a bunch last night. We are going to shop for our tree angels tonight! I can't wait to be done though.
My B&M is I'm tired today and wish that I was home sleeping still.
I also can't wait to stop aching all over. I see my endocrinologist on Friday! Hopefully, I'll get regulated soon.
99%. I have one gift card left to buy and I can't buy it until we get to the town the person lives in. Usually I am scrambling to finish so I have no idea what got in to me this year.
I feel the same way this year. I've tried listening to Christmas music and looking at Christmas lights... none of that helps.
Playing catch up.....
Deepthi- I think I missed wishing you a Happy Birthday. So Happy Belated Birthday!
To All who need them- T&P's to you. Sounds like several of you have a lot going on and I will keep you in my thoughts.
My only B&M is that I am crazy busy at work. I am taking the morning off tomorrow since my dad is having surgery so I am just trying to stay caught up. Thank goodness Christmas vacation is just around the corner.
I am 100% done with my shopping.
I'm also crazy slammed at work.
Post Vacation punishment, as per usual.
Yeah, I'm pretty bah-humbug this year as well. Couple that with no energy and not feeling good - and it's put a huge damper in my shopping.
I still haven't taken Cadence to go see Santa either. Bad Mom move.

Bwahahaha. I have DH's birthday, Christmas, Hanukkah and our anniversary within a 2 week period. I thought I was done Christmas shopping before Turkey Day (sorry Tiffany, I had to take advantage of Amazon Prime) but this weekend I discovered I am not but hopefully this weekend was it, at least for DH, because I just keep spending money! I have to bake goodies for one set of grandparent's and get those sent and buy my grandmother something else which won't be too much trouble. We wrapped nephew's gifts last night and DH is mailing them today.
SO I finally have 8 legit gifts for Hanukkah (my original plan was to be silly and break up his bag of socks and give him some each night- he would have done the same thing and even told me he was thinking about doing the same to me but now he's getting socks for his birthday), his birthday and I found something else to go along with his anniversary gift this weekend.
I spent a good chunk of yesterday wrapping because I had to wrap his gifts from my grandmother as well.
I always straightened my hair for years because I hated the curl until a few years ago and I just quit cold turkey. I've straightened it maybe 3 times since 2008 and while curly hair isn't my favorite it's much less time consuming so I've just embraced it. It has taken a lot of trial and error to find what works and what doesn't.
I am about 40% done, and a few are going to be very hard. I have no idea what to get my brother that just started talking to me in time to come to my wedding after refusing to answer my calls for 2 years. Even my dad's girlfriend who is BFF with his wife has no idea what to get them. Any ideas you guys? They have a 2 year old little girl that was basically a miracle and a little doggie, and that's all I know about them. My dad's GF suggested a GC for a restaurant, but I was hoping for something a little more personal.
It depends a lot on the products you use. I went through about 5 types of mousse before finding one that I liked. Blowdrying it on low with a diffuser will give it more volume. I could go on & on but I'll save you guys from that. Let me know if you have any questions BL!
Thank you!
Good luck to your dad and prayers!

Bahahahha I have reread this sentence about 10 times and just figured out that you mean your brother's wife, not your dad's. Oops. Do they live near here? What about a gift card for something you guys can do together, to spend a little quality time together and get reconnected?
Umm..NONE. I'm getting Stephen something on Friday. Gonna go ahead and buy him a new coffee maker, since caffeine helps get rid of his headaches/migraines. He wants me to get him Star Wars the Old Republic for Christmas, too. So I'll be getting him that.
I'm going to be making our parents a jar of hot chocolate from a recipe that I saw from Martha Stewart.
I've had the worst hiccups ever. They wont.go.away.
Starbucks Caramel Brulee frapp is so helping me.
Thank you!
ME TOO!
AND ME TOO!
HAHA yea! That would be awkward!!
They live in Forney. I have no idea on things we could do together. That whole situation/relationship is awkward turtle deserving.
Ah gotcha. I'm sure it looks beautiful curled!
