Christmas Cookies - what kinds are you making this year?

What kind of Christmas cookies are you making this year?  I haven't started mine yet.  I'm thinking of making some sour cream cookies that are my grandmother's recipe, Italian wedding cookies, and peanut blossoms (Kiss cookies), but I'd love to get some inspiration from what everyone else is doing.

  • Not sure if it counts as a cookie, but I'm planning to make 3 kinds of biscotti to ship to family along with some FingerLakes coffee roasters coffee.

I'm trying the candy cane biscotti from Annie's Eats blog this year, and also using these that I did last year and came out great (and I am baking challenged!)

I adore cut outs so I'm hoping to have time to do those too, but I won't be shipping those off!

  • Cut and bake :-) I am challenged in the kitchen.

  • I've been baking all day!  So far I made oatmeal craisin, dark chocolate chocolate chip, fruitcake cookies, thumbprints, cut-outs, peanut butter fudge, cherry almond bars and cranberry pecan bars.  I made dough to make chocolate raspberry almond rugelach tomorrow and later in the week I plan on making hot cocoa cookies, raspberry lemonade bars and apple pie cookies.
