She was talking about how now we can do our "married thing". She kept saying it over and over then got all quiet after she said it. Right before she said that she was going to say something but stopped her self. She was making it clear what she was talking about. I don't usually overreact about this kind of stuff, possiblly I am now? I asked him and he said he didn't say anything.
Well that's awkward!  It's okay to draw attention to how awkward that is. Tilt your head to the side and look at her like she's crazy, ask if she's ever been reported for sexual harassment, etc. I don't think you're overreacting, it's inappropriate behavior.

I agree.  I would have replied with something like, "I'm sorry.  I wasn't aware we had extra people in our bed room.  Maybe we should start charging a cover charge with such a large audience.  Do you have any tips since you seem to be so eager to give your two cents?"  But, I'm biitchy like that.

Thats funny. I always have something to say like that when offended but it was like a side blow to the head. I had talked to her before and she was nice.
  • I will join :)

My BFF was supposed to get married in Feb but her FI just called off the wedding a week ago. I want to feel bad for my BFF but I have honestly been celebrating all week. He was an immature ass who never treated her right. Everyone hated him and felt the marriage was a huge mistake. I hate that she is devastated but so happy she is not settling on someone so crappy.

I feel like I never talk to Stan anymore because I don't post over here very much. I can't answer any of the real questions, etc. so I just creepily lurk.

    A) Don't forget about the ballet

    B) You keep deleting your FB! :*(

I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.
  • Society is getting to the point where I want to go off the grid and not deal with the stupid any longer.

    Example:

Cashier: "The tickets are $2 each."

AD 30 year old male: "So how much would that be for 3 tickets? "

This then happened with the person right behind him, also AD male in his 30s and within hearing distance to the first customer.

  • When my H was TDY last week, I kinda liked having the apt to myself. Part of me feels that this makes me a terrible wife, but the rest of me thinks it means I'm just cut out to be married to an airman.

My cousin called me to ask me to pick up something for my brother and FSIL from her and her H because she doesn't think she'll have time. She left this in a message to me and I attempted to call her back but she didn't answer. I don't have time either. I hate that people think just because I don't have kids means I have all the time in the world. I don't. I work. I work out. I clean my house. I feed my husband. I take my puppers for walks. I'm busy too but I managed to do mine and my dad's Christmas shopping all before this last weekend. I don't want to do your's too!!!

My work thinks I can come in whenever anyone calls in because I don't have kids. That's right, I don't have a life and I live to work because I didn't squeeze lemon 2.0 out my vagina yet.

Ugh Lemon. I hate that. Thankfully they aren't like that at my job.

Called cousin twice now. She answered on the last call and said she was trying to get dinner on the table and the kids organized, could she call me back and how late was too late to all. Told her I'd be home all night and that E was in class till close to 11 so I should be up. Its now 10:15 and she still hasn't called me back.

Oh this is also the cousin who wants me to be in her wedding in May. Has yet to tell me anything else or tell me when she wants me to go buy my dress!

First off, someone should slap them upside the head. Second off, I'm incredibly distracted by the picture in your siggy because I keep thinking that I would inflict bodily harm on anyone that parked that close to my car so that I couldn't even get to my door...

Speaking of which, H and I are in agreement that one day we will buy a piece of crap truck with a grill and a ball and hitch so that we can give "love taps" to people who go 30 mph in a 45 zone (or the people that go 50 EVERYWHERE - whether it be a residential area or a highway). We would also break check people and allow people who cut us off to hit us. It's this dream that comforts me during annoying 2 hours drives...

Hahahah. I do find it funny that I never noticed how close they were parked. I just love the moneybags DINK stickers.

I've seriously thought about that too! Then I daydream about living somewhere that doesn't have tons of cars or people.

I'm undecided about whether or not I like the way the board is now or if I miss some of the flamings we used to have back in the day. Sometimes I do miss it (mostly because I'm bored out of my mind), and sometimes I don't because I don't have the energy or desire to deal with it anymore.

I've kind of stayed to lurking more on the board because of that. Even then, I don't really lurk as much as I used to because I miss SOME of the drama.

  • I find that the more social events and activities I participate in around base, I find myself spending more and more time with the O wives, instead of other E wives. It's mostly because, for some reason, the only E wives I've been meeting are those kind of military wives (I'm sure there are nice and great E wives somewhere on this base, I just haven't met many yet). I don't really think it's that big of deal either way, but C seems to think it is, even though it's me socializing, not him.
