I had my first work review yesterday and was super nervous about it. But it went really well and I even got a raise :-). That made my week!
On another note, I need to get my butt in gear and get my Christmas shopping done! Christmas is like ten days away!

Lame AW: I fixed the Christmas cards so there is no cutting required! Yay! There are over 100 and I have been printing them out and getting them into labeled envelopes. It is taking all of my normal Nesting time.
We leave for DH's company Christmas party in a few hours. Our flight leaves at 1:30 and we have dinner with "the boss" tonight, DH has team building things all day tomorrow (I have spa day!) and then it's the big Christmas party deal.
We fly home Saturday morning and immediately have to get in the car and drive 2.5 hours to visit family for Christmas. It'll be a busy but fun few days.
ETA: Oh and as much as she annoys me, my friend that is pregnant with multiples was admitted to the hospital yesterday for suspected pre-eclampsia. She seems not worried at all about going into pre-term labor at 28 weeks but any T&P that she doesn't would be welcome.
Very little - I still have quite a bit to do!

I'm trying to do the last loads of laundry and dishes so I can finish packing, movers come bright and early Saturday (and I'm hoping the weather remains rain free).

Leslie, that sounds like a crazy few days!
I woke up this morning with a horrible headache. I think it's from changing pressure with all the rain and everything. I was not excited about the drive to work, but it's finally getting better, yay!
I was so proud of myself for feeling ahead of my normal shopping schedule, until I looked at the calendar last night and realized how close Christmas is! I'm doing a lot more online shopping this year, hopefully I can get everything ordered by Saturday. The only thing I'm worried about is the custom wooden six-pack holder I'm getting my dad from an etsy seller. Pretty sure that won't be ready in time!
Most of you know, but we're getting a new kitty today. I posted his picture on FB but I can't seem to do it here without going to a photo editor first, which all happen to be blocked here at school. I'll try to post a picture later tonight when he gets to our home. We think he will work out just fine but we're not sure. At the very least, we save him from being put down tomorrow. His name is Rascal and he's ten years old. He's soooooooo handsome!!!!!
I now have 1.5 days until my break begins and I can't wait!
Right now, I love my students. In a few hours, that answer may change slightly, but I have a great set of kids in my first period class.
You are so brave. Letting them spend the night. I'm having my senior IV/V's over for a graduation party in May. I can't believe how excited they are about coming to our house. They have talked about it every day since I told them last week.

Big AW: I got a significant raise yesterday! I had planned to ask for a compensation review during my annual review this year, but now I don't have to. I am glad about that because talking "money" always makes me uncomfortable.
Big Bummer: I haven't felt so great lately and my doctor suggested I get some blood/lab work done. The nurse called with results this morning and they aren't very favorable. This is only stage one of the work up so I am trying not to get down about it.
Leslie- I hope you have a great time on the work trip!
Nesties- Good luck on your shopping! I am about 90% done and hope to finish up tonight.

Boot Camp is still great! Halfway through month two and haven't missed a single session!
Which is good.... since I've been eating like a pig.
Well, there's just 9 of them so I'm hoping that it won't get too crazy. They have been talking about it and are so excited about it too. They are so funny, because they are so interested in our lives and try to act like they aren't. In particular they are excited to meet Brad! He's being a very good sport.

If by results you mean eating like a pig and not gaining any weight, then yes.
It has also vastly improved my running abilities...and has really helped me push my own mental limitations. I also really love the ab workouts from a few of the trainers.
I had never heard of Elf on the Shelf until this year. Still not 100% sure how it works but if it will make SD lose the attitude for a month might try it!
I'm almost done Christmas shopping. I have no idea what to get my mom. She has everything and if she wanted something she can just go out and get it herself. So annoying!
I can barely walk today. I think little sweet Caroline spent the overnight hours head butting my pelvic bone. Seriously can't walk without looking like I have been on a 5 hours horse back ride. Going to get a support band today and the dr said it will force her to move up and out of my hip area. I'll try anything at this point.
I'm getting my hair done tonight. I'm so happy. My roots are about 2 1/2-3 in long. My hair grows so fast now I can't afford to keep up.

We got our Christmas bonuses on our check today. I AW'd late on the Thursday when I got it but it matches the biggest one I've ever gotten!
I am pretty much done Christmas shopping--just waiting for everything to get here. I pretty much just need stocking stuffers/candy and some odds and ends--do need to get my boss' present though so will probably do that this weekend. He told me yesterday he wants a Kinect so done! I normally get him a massage and a Mrs. Prindables apple every year--I've given up trying to be creative after 12 years. I mean he just bought a lamborghini so it's not like I can blow him away or anything.
ETA: Dana, ooooh, sorry. I had that same pain with Melodie--excruciating. I also had it constantly during labor and the epidural did not help it. Fun times!

I wish I could say I'm almost done Christmas shopping, but I'm not. We did finish our Tree Angels last night though! I can't wait to shop for DH this Sunday! My mom is in town and we are going shopping!
My AW is I just paid off a credit card bill today! YAY!! That makes it a total of 3 credit card bills for the year that are paid off!
