Morning girls! It seems I can't sleep in these days. I keep waking up with Jim at 6am and can't get back to sleep. I suppose I'm getting prepared for every 3 hour feedings.

Hudson has officially decided he wants a baby brother. Either he or my mom are going to be disappointed. =P I am getting my hair cut tomorrow and would like a new, easy style. Any good websites you guys use to look at cute cuts?

Re: Thursday randoms
sorry, I usually tell the hairdresser to do whatever she wants ;-)
The light in my office went out so I'm sitting here in the dark on my laptop until maintenance gets around to coming and replacing it. It's kind of fun.
DARKNESS IS ALWAYS GREAT
I cant think of any websites but I would look through the books when you get to your appt.
I would do a cut in 2 stages. First cut down the length, maybe a bob style and then 2 weeks or so after baby gg arrives you will have a better idea of how you want to style / deal with your hair.
I'm going to 2 different Christmas' this weekend with my BFF. Her Mom's side in Rockford and then her Dad's side in Lansing. Christmas is Rockford has the main course of Lasagna??? Christmas is Lansing is scheduled to start at Noon which in reality means we will eat at 4pm b/c that side is always scattered with everything. Interesting fact the Lansing side is an Extreme Makeover Home family.
What does this mean? They were on the show and live in a really cool house?
Yeppers. It is a pretty cool house. They were on 3 years ago.
Small AW: H found out he is a getting (a really small compared to years past but noneless) a bonus tomorrow.
It's enough to pay off his car and have a little leftover for something fun.
This is pretty exciting because the company is doing so badly that we didn't think he was getting anything at all.
Wendy: it's like camping! In your office... with a laptop. It's not like camping at all.
GG: Pinterest has a lot of hair photos on it. I've never found a great website for my needs.
Deeder: enjoy the festivities. My family is doing Christmas on Sunday. Main course is mostaccioli. My mom plans a nontraditional menu when we don't celebrate ON the holiday, so we don't have the crazy all out traditional meal 2xs.
Wendy - Don't fall asleep!
Deeder - that might be a good idea about 2 stages! Thanks! I vaguely remember Extreme Makeover coming to Lansing to do a house. I always wondered how well those houses they put up in 1 week held up...
Molly - That's great about the bonus and paying off your car! We are hoping to do the same thing this spring. I wish bonus time came at Christmas instead of April. =P
Indeed!
And the owner worded this bonus as "The company cannot afford bonuses this year, therefore none will be paid. However, to show my appreciation for your hardwork and dedication, you will each be getting $XXXX as a personal gift from myself."
This makes him sound extra special and nice, but my H does not like him.
$4Xs as a person gift?! Woah. That's fantastic!
In other news... Jim and I need to get out of nonprofits.
Haha I feel ya! I have to wait until February for mine! Christmastime would be nice.
We made lasagna for Christmas dinner a few years ago. :-) This year we're hosting brunch so I think the main course will be quiche. Not typical, but still yummy.
D&M- Congrats to your hub on the bonus!
Haha money isn't everything! He does not like his job.
So I wouldn't leave the world of non-profits if you (and he) are happy.
I keep telling him to look for a new job. But he argues, saying that he doesn't know how to do anything else and will never make this money elsewhere. So I tell him to get his butt back in school and learn something else. Nope.... Sigh.
Maybe you'll inspire Desmond, Mol, by going to school yourself. (again, yay!)
DITTO TIMES ONE MILLION.
Hi! My mom emailed to report that my grandma has settled into her new (temporary) digs at the nursing home and is resting comfortably. Her biggest complaint? That she can't get ESPN in her room.
That would be fun to see a makeover house in real life.
I would LOVE to get a 4 figure bonus.
A coworker lent me a lamp so I can at least see the keyboard now . . . we are taking bets as to how long it will take maintenance to fix my overhead light :-)
I agree! I'd love to check out their work.
Aww that's super cute. Glad she is settled in!
I'm so sorry.
T & P to you and your family and friends!
That was my DH. He finally went back to school for business (fyi for your hubby, Cornerstone has an amazing professionals program 1 night a week) and then they decided to promote him to his "dream" job. Thankfully DH is sticking it out even though work tells him he doesn't need the degree. Yeah, they probably are saying that so he can't ever leave. Any other company in their right mind wouldn't hire for this position without a college degree. Maybe your DH just needs time. It took mine 10 years to go back.
So. The Iraq was is over.
Thanks D&M. I just cannot stop thinking about his poor wife and girls. He went to the ER last night since he was not feeling well. They found that he had a lung infection of some sort. In the course of everything, his heart failed. I just cannot imagine having to leave the hospital without my husband...and THEN having to go home and tell the kids what happened. Sorry to go on about it....my brain just is on overload with all of it.
So awful. Thoughts with your friend's family.
