The only recipe I've tried from pinterest were the grilled cheese roll-ups. I thought they'd be super easy and come out all cute like the picture...Yea, no. They were good, you can't really mess up a grilled cheese, but it was disappointing.
Then again, I can't even make crescent rolls look right. So there's that. FI calls them manatee rolls because they come out big and puffy.
KA emailed me again and said that they are working on it. I sent her a threatening email in my response to her first email to me today.
Scary mica. :P

Rachers, still sick huh? That really sucks.
I am working/moping/killing time. I commented earlier that there is a work holiday party today that I wont be attending due to a weird boss/departmental situation. So I'm chilling here, running some experiments and smelling the wonderful tables full of food that will be brought to the party. Awesome.

One time I made corn bread and didn't stir the mix enough. It came out scrambled-egg-bread. It was DISGUSTING and my H still tried it. I about puked when I tried it.

Ummm for my embarrassing moment, one of my doozies was when I was a cheerleader in middle school. I totally forgot to put my spanx on before a game (and didn't even realize it), so when I was doing jumps, I was flashing my underwear to everyone. What was worse was the underwear had hello kitty on it. Yeah I never heard the end of that one.
Anyone else care to share?

Yay! Zappos is amazing. I ordered a pair of black suede heels yesterday (totally to make myself feel better), and they will be here today!
Now all I need to find is a knit black infinity scarf and black mini and my Christmas day outfit will be complete.
(And yes, I found the outfit on pinterest.)
In a play in college, i was swing dancing in a strapless costume. The costumer refused to put elastic in the top because "it would ruin the line" of it.
So of course, the top came down during the dance number during the final dress rehearsal. The guys on tech crew got an eyeful.
I definitely snuck into the costume shop in the middle of the night and sewed in my own damned elastic.
Yep. And Facebook is changing in a week too. It's switching over to this dumb timeline thing and the layout completely changes on your profile. again. Basically it makes it way easier for you to stalk back in past years of people without paging back several pages.

Chels - I did that once for pee-wee football cheerleading. I'm pretty sure I was sporting Little Mermaid. Thankfully my Mom noticed before I went cartwheeling all over the place.

I was thinking the same exact thing. Just because it's about wedding stuff doesn't mean it's not annoying as hell to us too.
