Re: SS REVEAL, PART TWO!
Seriously CCF! You tease. I am trying to figure it out but I don't know who it is. They were sneaky.
Sara- thank you I'm getting better.
Me too! It's killing me! I MUST KNOW.
Also, who sent me the random kind note on Elfster saying they liked me?
Yay for random nice notes.
Also: note about Elfster questions: I sent a lot of rando questions to people I thought might like them (hehe Sesh and CCF), if you didn't get a question don't get butt-hurt, I just honestly thought maybe you only wanted SS questions, or were too busy, or you slipped my mind, no biggie- you are still loved. I mean damn, we had what, 50-60 people this year?!
You mean the awesome comment? That was me
Not too long after I got the box of art, I believe.
I asked a ton of random questions on elfster too. Either based on past answers in the Q&A section, or just ones I came up with on the spot. The only ones I can think of off-hand is the one about Surf's Up for chels and roxy about the nail polish. There were a lot of questions.
Aww, thanks Sesh, the note was really sweet and made me so curious!
And I'm glad I wasn't the only one asking weird questions.
I got bored a lot, so I asked lots of questions.
Hey did you see your FB tag I made? Just something to add to your portfolio
Could've been me since I am in Rotten Island....but it wasn't. I know Ciara was mine because the Amazon packaging told me so...lol
I loved my gifts. I got a Christmas Cookie Yankee Candle, which has been burning every night since. I also got an awesome Snoopy Mug. Yay for my SS!
I was glad that I got you. I had a really hard time trying to figure out what to get you because we've mostly only interacted during heated type threads. I'm always afraid that people don't "get" me or my humor so I glad it wasn't a flop.
I was going totally going send you pepper spray, but I called an asked if it was ok to send and was told "that's probably not a smart decision."
Ah! I wanted to know if the cat sweater was too big. For some reason, I had in my head that you had a 20 pound cat, so I made the sweater super big. (Well, big for a cat.) I tried it on my own kitty (hope your cat doesn't mind, but my cat doesn't have fleas or anything) and it was too big for him--he's about 13 pounds. But then when I saw your AW, I noticed that your cat doesn't seem to weigh 20 pounds, and I didn't want you to have a cat sweater that was too big. Especially since I made it kind of dress-style, as I couldn't stop laughing about the idea of a red party dress for a cat.
Yes, I did! It made me so warm and fuzzy and it was pretty much the greatest thing ever to show to my mom when I went home for a few days, I was so thankful to have good news to share with her, she was so proud
Haha, cat sweaters. Only made funnier by imagining them either too big or too small.
My cat would definitely need the larger size.
(I'm playing with the quote function to see if I can quote without it being the long quote-on-quote-on-quote thing. We'll see how it turns out)
The bolded statement is priceless. Now I want to get a dress for my fat cat. She would look so beautiful. And maybe a sweater vest for my other cat, because he is a gentleman.
Edit: Whoops, went a little overboard with the picture.
That's Otto! He is actually the most laid-back cat I know; it was pretty easy getting him into the dress, but then he didn't seem to like wearing it very much. I think that was partly because it was a bit too big and he kept catching his back paws on the ruffled hem.
I would never try to get my other cat into clothing. He would freak out, poor little dude.
I'm so pleased that you dressed Otto in drag.
my read shelf:
Ha! I hadn't thought about that. I tend to think of him as pretty gender-free, especially as he has no testicles. Though I do tell him he's handsome (rather than pretty). Maybe I will start telling him that he's pretty.
Yes! She'd probably be more fun that H anyway.
OMFG! I am SO excited! My SS is zee best! Holy cow, I am blown away. So, she sent me a Snoopy ornament and chocolate pretzels (nom!). THEY DON'T EVEN MAKE OR SELL these ornaments anymore!! You have to find them in flea markets, antique stores, ebay, etc. I am so touched.
And I can't AW a photo on TN b/c I don't know how! Halp!

Does that link work?
Ash, is it you? I'm basing that on A) you said I'd receive it today and I did and 2) you're in PA. And I'm am loving that you used the Beaverhausen as the return name!
P&R, having company in a few! But wanted to pop in and participate
my link to my AW: LINK
I'll be back later =D
I don't know if she's around anymore, but LetsHike, I'm so glad you liked your gift! I really did have a lot of fun finding them for you.
And Reddy had me! I AW'd http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-boards_snarky-brides_ss-aw-5. I LOVED her gift. I've been using the olive oil and balsalmic vinegar, and it is so, so good. Seriously, this was an awesome gift.
