LOLLOLOL...One of my friends posted on Facebook "Apparently Kim Jong was really Ill" and this girl we went to high school with posted, "Who is Kim Jong, when is his service?"
Your prayers are working, the defense nailed their arguments and really made the prosecution look bad on Thurs/Friday. They rest today and then closing arguments and then it is up to 12 people who could really use your prayers to have clear minds and good hearts to do what they think is right, however it ends up for my family.
Had a great weekend, spa, fun company party, spent Saturday night/Sunday with family. Got a great bracelet and had many laughs. Met up with one of my BFFs last night, hadn't seen her in weeks because of finals, had a red velvet Pizookie and enjoyed catching up.
I'll be here until Friday at noon.
I knocked the crap out of the bottom of my calf this morning and I'm sure I will have a nice bruise.
Does anyone suddenly not feel comfortable in their clothes even if you just wore them last week and nothing has really changed? I'm there right now and don't feel good in a very large chunk of my wardrobe.

I am at home today and tomorrow, I took the days off for Matts bday a few months ago, but then plans changed and he decided not to take the time off and I figured I would still take them. I still need to change my name. I was sad though because I found out last night that Matt has the 26th and 2nd off and for whatever reason didnt know this, so I didnt take those days off.
I am making those delicious pepperoni puffs for Christmas Eve. I went to three stores yesterday looking for a mini cupcake pan. Each of said 3 stores had no mini cupcake pans, but ALL had mini donut pans. I did finally find the pan at the 4th store I went to.
What has the world come to? Seriously. Who even bakes donuts?
Thank you guys for all of your positive thoughts last Friday. I am doing tons better. I told Daniel that night, and it went so much better than I ever could have hoped. My favorite line of his: "We could lose everything and I wouldn't care." LOVE him.
I keep reminding myself of the good things that have come from this. I get to have the holidays off to spend with my family. I get to spend a lot more time with Daniel when he comes home in the evenings, and he's been extra snuggly all weekend. I think we actually really needed this extra time together. I've gotten to snuggle on the couch with Chunk all day, and he's eating it up! (His shakes are gone too! The medicine is really helping.) I have some free time to finally get around to changing my name on everything. I'm hoping that I can get a job in Grapevine, which would make my commute 15 minutes instead of 45 minutes. And being able to actually sleep at night, and wake up at a decent hour, has made me feel tons better. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can get a day shift job.
Sorry this is very anti B&M, but I needed to write down my silver lining list to keep me going.

There were ~10 announcements of pregnancy on the Getting Pregnant board over the weekend and this morning. Usually there is one every one to two weeks. Not sure what's going on but I wish we had a community watercooler over there because I would drink the water.
Psh, if your going to do it....you might as well do it right!!
I am going dps first because they open first then taking my temp license to the ss office which opens an hour later. I am hoping to get to both places before they open to minimize the line.
I have made an appointment for Jan 2nd (new ins and HSA account kicks in on the first) with a new OB and hoping to get the non hormonal IUD. Anyone had any experience or know anyone who has with it. I know some ladies have used the mirena but I dont want the hormones.
All I will say is I know I have only given it 2 months but I dont think the FAM method is the right choice for me. TMI alert, my cycles have been 35-41 days long each month so far and I am in a constant state of paranoia that I may get pregnant and almost too scared to even enjoy what would make a baby.
Cake donuts are baked, right? I LOVE cake donuts, especially blueberry donuts.
Angela- I love my ornament! Thank you :-). Also, I did ss first and then changed my license. Then I did other things, like the bank and some of my credit cards. I still think half of my stuff is in my old name but I am not in a huge rush to change the little things.

Speaking of babies - In case anyone is curious I saw a post of Shannon's and then proceeded to Nest/Bump stalk her. She is nearly 27 weeks and is having two girls. It seems like things are going well.
Angela - I hope you get a great new job soon. I am glad Daniel is a sweety, you wouldn't have married him otherwise, right?
BL - re: FAM - these last couple of months have been so weird for me, no temp shift, no positive OPK - because of this I now know there is no way I could trust my body to cooperate with FAM for birth control. It is an excellent method for many people and a completely valid form of birth control but it's just not right for some people. Speaking again of babies, I am super-stalking Gina like every day now for signs of labor.
KKITM replayed the cancer/raising brother's kids Christmas wish this morning. They played "Gloria" right after and I bawled. "Gloria" is such a beautiful song it just pushed me over the edge.

I'm glad everything went well with Daniel. Now, you definitely know you got the right one.
Rascal is still warming up to us. My dad and my brother spent almost all day Saturday here hanging out. It was fun. Until, in the middle of a game we were watching, my dad wanted to play a song for us. Well, he didn't stop after halftime, he just kept playing the music, kind of loudly, on his iPad. I don't know when my dad became that old guy who doesn't care about other people. Later this week, we are meeting them at the Burger House on Mockingbird and going to see Christmas lights with them.
Today, I am going to make Gingerdoodles, half ginger snap and half snickerdoodle. Here is the recipe.

Angela - I'm so sorry about your job! I hope you're able to enjoy the holidays and find something closer and during the day for your next job.
The move went pretty well. From start to finish it took a little over 3.5 hours, and then Sunday we spent cleaning out my parents old shed and moving stuff to their new one (next to ours). My back was in so much pain.
DH and I are both off again today so we're going to head out for lunch and then use some coupons to paint at color me mine in Frisco. I'm really excited!

I talked to the leasing office today about how much of a credit towards our rent we will be getting, and they said we probably will just get if for the water. $50 bucks? We've been going without hot water pretty much every since we moved here. They need to at least give us a $300 credit. Stephen is furious. When he gets home, he said he'll be going down there to talk to them.
I had to run by the mall yesterday, and people were NUTS. They werent paying attention when they were driving, and a couple of cars almost hit me because they were on the phone. I'm so glad Stephen is driving later, because I have road rage VERY bad lol.
I would be furious as well Danielle. Hopefully they will give you more than $50!

I highly recommend listening to it...Tina is the narrator and it's hysterical. Now I need to find something else to fill the air.
Angela, I think you have a great attitude and congrats on the big win!
I don't have much to complain about. I am off next week for vacation, and my Christmas shopping is done. I will be very, very busy this week at work though. And I'm still having issues with my neck and I think I will have to end up seeing someone about my wrist that got strained in the car wreck.
I really hope I get my car back this week. I am sick of driving a lead sled.
