Anyone have Gingher scissors?
I have been thinking about buying a pair for my Mom. She is a quilter who occasionally dabbles in other sewing projects. She mostly uses her rotary cutter. Will she still really uses these? Are they really that wonderful? What size do you recommend? Any other thoughts?
Re: Anyone have Gingher scissors?
The only Gingher scissors that I have is a small pair (maybe 4") with leopard print handles. I find them quite useful.
I am not a fan of the full size, because I don't find them comfortable to use. They are nice shears (my business partner has some that she has had for over 30 years), but they make my hand sore.
Hm, so it's not just me. I cut both right-handed even though I'm a lefty. H bought me a left-handed pair of Ginghers for my birthday a couple years ago so I've been practicing with them. They make my hand sore right around my the knuckle in my thumb, and I thought it might be just because I'm still a little awkward about it.
