Re: I'm just gonna say it
Well, let's review if this is overboard or not.
First of all, the friend that inspired this post hasn't had a profile pic of herself since she had her first ultrasound.
On the 14th, she posted repeatedly about her sick kid, and then pulled the mommy martyr line when she began to feel sick herself: "once you become a mom you don't get sick days."
Then for the next 24 hours, here are her statuses:
"Ugh. We're both sick."
(Video of baby) "Trouble"
(Photo of baby) "Hai! I'm done my nap now."
"Question for other moms. K can now pull up to sitting, sometimes standing in her crib when it's time for bed or nap and just cries and cries and cries. I know she's tired, she doesn't want to sleep with me, she doesn't want to be held. She just cries because she's so sleepy but knows she can pull up now and sit/stand crying."
(Video of baby) "Making a mess and dropping food for (dog's name)."
(Photo in PNP) "Hai, let me out, K?"
"I win this round, K! You need a second nap no matter how much you fight it! I love you, sleep tight!"
(Photo in high chair) "Green bean and rice destruction."
(Video of baby) "Jamming to Xmas music"
"(H's name) is watching K so I can *gasp* watch TV! Amazing!"
"K and I are still sick but I think *crossing fingers* we are both on the mend. And her second top tooth is almost through which marks 4 teeth and hopefully an end to psycho screaming fits."
This was in 24 hours. I deem this overboard. And obviously this isn't the only 24-hour period in which this has happened.
My Lunch Blog
I would deem that overboard as well. And WTF is up with the TV one?
LOL, I don't think I post about Baby Geek that many times in a month, much less a day! Geez! That IS overboard!
I do, however try to upload photos/a video once a week or so because my sister and BIL live four hours away and they love seeing what he's up to. I post funny convos with BG, too, once in a while. Oh, and I still manage to post about other things I'm interested in, too.
Sounds like your friend is just a major attention whore, TBH. The problem is, she doesn't have any interesting subject matters to post so the kid gets the brunt of it.
