Re: Weekend plans?
Don't worry. I've been giggling all day.
We actually went to urgent care together - him for his sack and me for my ankle. The doctor saw him first and when he came in my room he's all "I just saw your H. Nice guy!" And all I could think was "dude, you were just checking out his nuts."
Does he have a primary care doc? He ought to be vigilant about getting that checked out.
We are having a low-key weekend. We always just stay in and cook a nice meal for NYE. We're having shrimp cocktail, filet mignon, roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus, and something chocolate-y for dessert.
Sunday we'll take down the Christmas decorations, watch football, and eat meat pie. We will also continue what seems to be the never-ending project of getting Ian's new room together for him.
I hope the doctor washed his hands very thoroughly for you.

We just moved and still need to get new PCPs. The only PCM in our area that our insurance covers couldn't get him in for another two weeks. He's supposed to go back for a nut ultrasound in a week if he's still in pain.
"Once I got a bath bomb that, once exploded, filled the tub with confetti. Little sharp metallic pieces of confetti. The product description said nothing about confetti. Oh look, there's a tiny, sharp metallic blue star stabbing me in the labia. HOW RELAXING. " - NoisyPenguin
Tomorrow night Bob signed up to do some overtime so I'll probably do my lesson plans and grade some papers when he goes back to sleep during the day.
Saturday he'll probably sleep most of the day so I'll just finish the schoolwork or start another purge. Thanks to Christin, we were inspired to take the heaping pile of junk sitting in our spare room to Good Will today so I might get started on another pile.
Saturday night B will probably be lame and go to bed early since he "must be up early" to go to the Eagles game on Sunday. But as long as he makes me the chili dip I requested, I'll try to stay up to watch the ball drop. Then on Sunday, he'll head to the game while I'm go to celebrate Christmas with my dad's side of the family.
Sunday night will be spent crying that I wish we had off on Monday.
Hope everything goese better.
