Netflix streaming v. HuluPlus
Which would you recommend and why? My ancient DVD player just crapped out on us so we took this opportunity to upgrade to a Blu Ray player and I want to start streaming movies and such. Thanks!
Re: Netflix streaming v. HuluPlus
As a former Netflix streaming customer, Hulu Plus would be my suggestion. The selection on Netflix sucks anymore.
Also, even though your dvd player just died, I would suggest a Redbox membership for watching recent DVD releases on your laptop and connecting it to your TV (you can get an HDMI cord at Best Buy for $20 or less). Redbox is only $1 per rental, can be reserved online, and their machines are popping up everywhere--supermarkets, pharmacies, etc.
eta: Regular dvds will play in a bluray player. And, Redbox has blurays for rent, too (I think it's $.50 more per rental)
